Chukka's

Thought I'd start a new thread.
Maybe you guys have some opinion on them.

So my new found boot fetish is with Chukkas.
My Boys convinced me after they wore their Aldens nearly every day for a year+.

So I thought I'd give them a try.
Started with a pair of classic Clark's, not bad.
Then bought a pair of leather soled Aldens, a little more dressy.
Then a pair of TS, dare I admit to it (only $140, couldn't say no).
Recently a pair of Allen Edmonds, suade with Dainite sole.

Anyone looking to grow up and wear something other then sneakers and not as clunky as Boots, give a pair of Chukkas a try.

I absolutely love the suede ones with Dainite soles. Extremely comfortable and stylish.
Wife loves them.

I bought a pair of Red Wings this year back in Feb. and wore them everyday while I was staying up in Seattle walking back and forth to SCCA as I had a stem cell transplant for multiple myeloma. I was wearing them 2-4 miles everyday for 6 weeks, and have continued to wear them up until now. They are substantial leather, and do require a breakin, but It was very doable and I avoided any blisters. After about 6 months they are outstanding in comfort. I get lots of compliments and they work well for dressing up or down. A little polish will snazz them up nicely. Highly recommend.

I bought a pair of Men's Classic Chukka Boots this year back in May. and wore them every day while I was staying up in Amsterdam I am wearing them on everybody because I have walk 2 hrs to my work, and have continued to wear them up until now. They are durable, elegant, stylish, and comfortable for my feet and also keep. After about 6 months they are outstanding in comfort. I get lots of compliments and they work well for dressing. Highly recommend.
