leather journal covers

I've been looking for a new leather journal cover.  I'm a natural list maker and at work I take notes and write with pen and paper more than I do on a tablet or phone.  I've had my eye on one from Tanner Goods, but the more i explore the more it seems somewhat overpriced.  I've also had my eye on one from a local leather make here in Charlotte as well.  Does anyone else carry one of these or have a recommendation?

I know a guy who makes amazing moleskine covers, let me know if you are interested im sure he could do a custom size based on your preferred writing pad. Here's a pic of a custom stained version, but natural veg tan is also available. It's all hermann oak leather if I recall correctly.

A while back, I had some custom leather covers made for a 3X5 notepad, since I carry one in my back pocket at work. I'll post pics soon.
