couldn't seem to find a thread dedicated to swimwear. Just wanted to start one to see what you guys have been sporting. I need to replace some trunks and have started looking around. I've had my eye on some Outlier New Way shorts, but also just want to get a couple pairs of traditional trunks for the beach and pool.

I've had my eye on some Outlier New Way shorts, but also just want to get a couple pairs of traditional trunks for the beach and pool. I recently bought some Orlebar Brown on clearance from their site for < $100. They are great shorts, but so fitted that it really exacerbates your gut. So swim shirt with those for me. The pair that I have at home that I like are O'Neil I think. I recently bought a pair of shorts and swim shirts from Speedo. Um, I can fit 2 thighs in each leg and the shirts come down past my junk. Vanity sizing indeed. So those are going back. I have had two recent pairs of swim shorts from JC**W, I would not buy from them again. I am looking for recommendations for "swim shirts" or loose rash guards. I spend a lot of time on the boat and in the pool and would like something that is not skin tight but that I can move around in the water in as well. For shoes, I like Swims brand loafers and Reef flip flops.

I like board shorts (even though I've only surfed twice in my life). Anyway, I got some board shorts last year from Katin that I really like. Mine are made in USA, but a quick search of their site just now doesn't specifically say their swim suits are made in USA. Not sure what that means. Bummer.

board shorts are just too long for me these days. I've got several pairs from O'Neill and a couple pair of Billabong Crossfire shorts but they're just so long. I don't even remember them being that long when i bought them. So i'm on the search for something with a good material in a 6-7" inseam.

i'd rock those ranger pantys lol, tons of military dudes at the gym wear it in my area.
I usually just buy cheap board shorts as I rarely hit the beach/pool to hang out.

Just remember the "Ranger Panties Sizing Rule of Thumb":
If you THINK they are too small, size down once more... That way, you KNOW they are too small!

banana hammock Believe it or not, there used to be a guy that would hike a trail circling a lake in a State Park near me. His outfit was not this one exactly, but he would wear the same color thong. He would wear dark sunglasses, and didn't talk to anyone, but he creeped out a lot of locals, including most women. I, myself, would usually bust out with a chuckle because he was SO out of place around here. He hasn't been seen the last couple years, and word has it that somebody let him know he wasn't welcome. Seattle mentality doesn't quite prevail around my section of Washington.

Thanks for posting these. Never heard of Almond, but digging some of their options.
