Stopped by Blue Owl to check out the Outclass South Western Blanket Flannel, The shirt fits me very well (size Medium), with my only quibble being a hem that is beginning to resemble dick curtains (not there yet, but I'd prefer a more subtle swoop) I feel the Aztec pattern is pulled off well with ( I count ) four different colored threads, woven together to create this complex, yet still classic jacquard. It's not too busy, nor is the pattern dull by any sense The buttons are a special disk of smoke grey mother of pearl, that shines just enough to catch the eye, with out taking away from the shirt's other subtleties. The soft Portugese (sorry bentin ) flannel is a nice thickness that won't overheat you indoors but will, I'd imagine, provide good thermal retention when layered up. Outclass's Wool Twill CPO caught my eye too... As did this Static Slub brushed flannel: Impressed me enough to cop their last Aztec shirt; I'm glad BO introduced me to the brand.

I think most flannel that doesn't come from Japan comes from the land of tiny fish. I just prefer my American clothing companies to sew it over here, especially when the shirt is named, oh, say California.
