The back pocket buttons back pocket stitching is too thick and inflicts pain when you sit on hard surfaces. I have 2 pairs and I'm realizing that I'm going to have to remove the back pocket buttons to never sit down to make these tolerable. A shame really, because otherwise they are pretty good.

I've got and couple pair of 12oz, and an 18oz pair all with corozo buttons and they seem fine to me, but I wouldn't want th tradition metal denim buttons on my backside.

I don't know yet what it is, but when I get home and take these off there will be an investigation. Sitting in the bleachers watching my daughter's game was not a pleasure with these 2 objects, whatever they are, digging in to my rump.

OK, so it turns out that it's the inner edge of the rear pocket bags, not the buttons. They are built up so thick and so ultra-reinforced that they act as a protrusion that affects you when you sit. It's something that is meant to be ultra strong, but in this case is a design flaw. It's fine when your sitting on a cushion, but no good when your ass must meet a hard chair or bench.

I believe I remember Ciano stating the pocket bags are something like 16oz material, or something close to that. Probably a little overkill for a chino pant, but he builds them to last, and they will probably hold up better than the duck will, lol.

I rarely wear mine for similar reasons. All of the layers where the taped seams, pull loops, and heavy pockets overlap cause uncomfortable pressure points when I wear them. As noted, they're built to last, unfortunately in my case it is due to lack of wear.

Ciano, first off, let me set the record straight that I am not saying the canvas is in any way bad. It is awesome, and you are awesome. I don't want anything from you, trust me. You have been good in all of my dealings with you guys. As you can see from the image above, the part of the back pocket where the fabrics come together is very thick and it is also hard. This is right where a person sits down, so it is digging in to their rump. This is something you can consider fixing. I might just cut that part out and restitch it somehow.
