That 170 though...love it. Giles said the 170 is a very limited run and they have virtually eliminated all fabric skew.

and of course as with the 129's the blue on the 170's is Indigo dyed.

It is a beaut. I don't know if I could resist if it were a 12oz, but I'll live it through you guys. It will be like the 155s, in that they look way better in open light, vs web pictures.

What's the difference between the 170 and the 129? Weight? When is the new 129 scheduled to be released?

The differences is the 129 is a western/170 is a work shirt and in a different colorway obviously than the first two 129s. You can basically look at the 170 as a third colorway to the 129 but in a work shirt version. The 170 is the new 129 we've been referring to. |

No, the 129 will not be re-released, it will just be the 170. Just as well. Probably my fave colorway of the three anyway. Since they won't be released until Feb, it will give me a little time with my new 155 baby to figure out if he needs company in the closet. Do you think it will be an IHUK exclusive? |

IIRC the "house" that makes these fabrics for the 129 and 170 is a very small family type of operation somewhere in Japan. I believe that is why these fabrics are limited runs.
