If you want to post some size specs like chest, shoulder and body length im curious how the sizing is on this since the last shirt from Freenote someone posted appeared to run large. I typically wear a XL as well but even Taylor Stitch in XL is a little too short for me so this may be a better fit. I'm 6'3 190.

Anybody got in between sizing experience with the lancaster?
I consider myself to have very normal measurements for someone 5'8"; 155 lbs I got a size small, and it is quite snug - I can just barely pull it off, but even the sleeves are too short.. but the chest and waist are slim but doable.
Anyone with similar experience have an idea if a medium would be crazy big?
I can't trust their sizing, really, cause a small in the Gingham fits me much better than a medium...

I have a size medium white Lancaster i'd be willing to part with: $120 shipped CONUS
Shirt has been worn once then machine washed cold and hang dried.
Measurements size medium (following Rogue Territory's measuring guide):
P2P: 21" Sleeve (from shoulder to cuff): 24.5" Length from shoulder seam: 28" Shoulder: 17"-17.25"

Let us know how they're sized and how they do after a soak.

The fabric looks nice, I just hate the shape of their back pockets I will let you all know about the sizing. I'm not too confident in the advice for the size I ordered but we shall see . The low rise doesn't help help lol According FN the loom states will only shrink about an inch in the waist . Essentially I get the feeling the FN guys may not be as meticulous on sizing advice and or tolerances as our other brethren in the field. Usually a maker can help you pin down size and shrink pretty well. But here it was more of you "should" be ok or "don't machine wash". I have no problem if they don't fit but I will be more than annoyed it they don't measure close to their size chart out of the box. Particularly on a final sale If they are correct and if the size chart is accurate I will jusssst make it. If not you may see them for sale here But at the sale price a reasonable risk I actually think the pockets are a nice change of pace

Loomstates are drying now (unfortunately it's crazy humid so they are probably going to have to go in the dryer). Andrew sent me two sizes and I'll be keeping the 30 with a cookie sheet in the waist because the 31 was good but felt like it was cut wrong in the seat and no matter what rode up my ass (even super low). The fabric is insanely slubby and feels even more so than the Strike Gold 5109s I had for a short time. Fit pics and measurements when they are dry, I didn't take any pictures presoak

Under the knee looks really boxy in the photos because I was laying on the couch just prior but eases up with adjustment and will get better as they soften up. They are still very stiff but quite comfortable, if I had any semblance of an ass I would absolutely need to have kept the 31. Waist: 30.5 used cookie tray and now 32 Thigh: 11.75 - 11.25 Knee: 8.5 - 8.25 Cuff: 7.75 - 7.5 They had a hot soak for about 30 minutes until my son decided to open and empty half of the bottle of body wash that was holding them down, then a rinse and another 20 minute soak. I can guarantee they'd lose more with another hot soak or in the machine.

Since I got a few thumbs up regarding interest on my take on the free notes here's a quick update. The original pair of tagged 35 loom states measured much less then 35"- a full inch and 1/2 less (really closer to two inches ) then the spec'd 36.5.
I also ordered a 6 month wash in the rios straight . The rios came in at least an inch less then specd.
David at FN was incredibly nice and apologetic and shipped out out a size larger in each pair and was received in just two days!!
So tonight was the first chance I've had to take a look. The rios are all good but Unfortunately the saga continues. The replacement pair of loomstates is tagged 36 the next size up. However This one measures 17.2 -so at 34.4 it's not only smaller then the first pair it's arguably 3-4 inches less then the specified 38.5
So ...to be continued

Dang. Don't they at least try to measure them before sending them out? Well I shot the FN guys an email with some pics, b/c i thought i was losing my senses...I must have measured 20 times . I actually thought i was becoming one of those crazy internet customers you cant make happy no matter what. anyone have any "intel" on what the shrink and or stretch on these might be? Id really like to keep them but dont know if any fabric would stretch close to the 2.5 inches need to be workable and another inch to be comfortable Here's a pic or two for reference

So I have this denim - jumped on the sale - but will say if you can fit them now, you have a shot. I didn't do pre/post measurements, but pre-soak they were pretty snug, i warm/cold soaked them, hung dry, and forced them on. Feels like they are about back where they started, so thats my "feel" vs exact take.

Kkozel. Thanks for the info. I'll try them on again and see for its close enough for a risk.
Received a curt one sentence reply to my last email informing FN guys that the second pair was smaller then the undersized first pair at 3-4 inches below spec. They will take them back...but no other comments or even offer to measure another pair. Either they think I'm a kook or they may be embarrassed about their QC .
I would have handled it differently, as I serve clients all day long, but at least they made the offer. I would have measured the replacement pair before sending it out but that's just me
As I mentioned above,it's only a guess but either the Fn guys are not as meticulous with measurements as other vendors...or they did not want to be bothered due to sale item.

Man, I'm not liking your experience with them at all. I really like the slightly funky details on their clothes but don't think I'll be giving them any of my business. Tough luck, too bad they didn't try harder to satisfy a customer.

Just wanted to post a positive development in my saga and give a thumbs up to Freenote
I returned the loomstates after the curt reply I mentioned above. With tounge firmly in cheek I threw in a measuring tape in the package with a handwritten note indicating my disappointment
Yesterday I received a call from Andrew , one of the principals expressing regret over the situation. He then offered to send over a new pair of slims in a brand new run of cone 14.7. Oz. don't recall cone model number (something like WM211) but the point is that this pair of course is list price, not a sale item as I originally bought . So I humbly accepted and thanked Him profusely for the unsolicited follow up.
Even though I have way too much cone in my collection He also measured them while I was one the phone to ensure they would fit.
So all in all I'm very happy and give the FN a big shout out for their effort. I don't even care about the new pair, just that they reached out!
So the only even potential downside is I now have two pairs of slims instead of one slim and one straight . I would hardly call that an issue, more like a first world problem and or a plethora of riches.
Nice job FN.
