matt have you noticed any shrink after a wash on the Cramertons? There was a little, probably about 1/4" in the waist but nothing that was a deal breaker for me. This fabric doesn't really stretch out too much either, or it bounces back after some time hanging on the hook. It wasn't overly careful, did a cold wash and medium heat tumble dry with mine. For the price with the ShopSpring discount at the time, I didn't treat these as delicately as other more expensive options. Really nominal shrink and quite pleased with them.

He did get back and with good news. - NC Thanks so much for the feedback - it's emails like this that let us know we are going in the right direction product wise. Does anyone know when they will be getting more of the cramerton Khakis? Kind of frustrating that everything seems to be sold out all the time.

ok I'm a bit confused. So there are two different types of Chinos? One is sold out and one is available for pre order? They both look the exact same to me.

their website is a but frustrating as well. The top 1/3 of the page is not visible because their menu is constantly up there.

Haven't had to return anything yet.
Check sizing. They have pre-order for all sizes, but they may still have some items in stock in certain fits/sizes. I've found that most items when you pick a size/fit, they will give you an "email me when available" option.
Not the best site, but workable.

I'm interested in that one if it shows up again, the taper is a little too dramatic for me but id love to try them out.

Does it bother anyone else that they spell selvedge wrong and it's plastered all over their website?

Yeah their site sucks and their spelling sucks but that's not what you are buying.
Or is it?
Yeah, he needs to ditch the popups for sure.

Never noticed there were two cuts of chinos .... Either the layout is wonky, or I'm just getting old

Does it bother anyone else that they spell selvedge wrong and it's plastered all over their website? I've noticed a lot of companies use selvage and selvedge interchangeably. Interestingly, they got it spelled right on the website tab (Affordable Selvedge Denim) but not spelled like that anywhere else. Eh, it's their spin on the niche. Side note - the flannel is intriguing. But I'm going to have to move out of the desert soon to accommodate my closet full of stuff that I really don't need to wear in Arizona.

Never noticed there were two cuts of chinos .... Either the layout is wonky, or I'm just getting old I agree the lay out is a little weird, but this is my interpretation: Closer to the top of the home page, the selvage chino icon will take you to a page that says the chino is sold out but you can sign up for a notice when they are available. Don't use that one. If you scroll down further to the preorder section and click on the selvage chino icon, that is where you can place an order for the chino to be delivered in October. A little wonky to be sure. The other cut is the same fabric, but in a 5 pocket, jeans version. That style had been available in the past, but I don't think it's available any more. If you go to shopspring.com, I think there is one pair left. There are also a few of the chino cut in a couple of sizes at that site if you don't want to wait til October. FWIW, I wear a 35 slim in G chinos and denim, have a true 36 waist and I have a 33 in these chinos which fits me well. I have done one cool wash and hang dry and had very minimal shrink since I received mine in May or June.

Also, I have had an occasion to email Mik about a couple of things like sizing advice and he's very responsive. Great guy to work with.

I just can't recall seeing Selvage spelled that way anywhere else but maybe I just never noticed. Either way it's not going to stop me from buying anything from them but their wonky website and lack of stock will.
The Chinos look like a good fit other than the taper. It looks like it might be a bit too extreme for my liking.
