Has anyone purchased the L1 leather jackets? I keep coming back and looking at these. Any comments on sizing and quality?
There's a bunch in the stock store, which could either be good or really bad.

Yes! I really like them. The horween leathers are very stiff, and do show the illustrious/waxy character. However, there are some people that reported certain pieces of the leather jacket having much looser grain. Thus, you may or may not get a jacket that is uniform in appearance (texture)/smooth throughout. On the other hand, the 499 coats L1 black/brown feel more supple and do not show any cosmetic flaws. I prefer my L1 black over the horween CXL #8.

There is a small l1 on eBay. For $100. If it's your size that's a good deal no matter the criticisms of the jacket. Too small for me
