Has anyone come across any fades of these Bad Larrys? I have been wearing mine off and on for several months with ZERO sign of fades. These are the natural indigo "Kabuki Vedge" model.

I wore mine pretty consistently through the winter. My white car is now blue as are my Red Wings. But fading is pretty subtle. A bit of honeycombs and whiskers and a little bit of wallet fade, but it's all pretty subtle. Probably need another full winter to get those fades really showing through and need a wash.

I wore mine daily, April through June of last year. I started seeing hints of whiskers and combs. But, with July heat, and Kibatas in hand, I hung them up. Since September, I've been wearing IH-19L and PBJ AI- almost exclusively. It's a shame. They deserve more time. I may very well wind up selling them.

From what I understand that is the nature of natural indigo, it fades slowly but should produce great fades in the end.

Mine actually seem close to being really good. They fade better than my stupid G Italy BxB, and about on par with my RgT 11oz. The fit is just a little too loose for frequent wear. Wish I'd realized there was a slimmer fit when I ordered. Suspect my Ciano Anniversary will really push these to the back of the rotation. Pity, the denim is spectacular.

Newest member of the 575 club here. I'm taking over this pair after scooter gave them a run. He says he hot washed them and tried to shrink them as much as possible but they were still too baggy for him. Well these fit me about as snug as I like. These are also my only indigo pair of jeans that fit at the moment so I'll be putting in as much time as possible.

As much as I hated to unload my Kabuki, they deserved a better home. As luck would have it, I was able to nab a replacement pair in the 546 cut, on eBay, tonight. I've got the olive in the 546, and it works well for me. I'm back in.....

These are pretty impressive 22oz fades (incorrectly listed as 20oz). www.heddels.com/2017/01/fade-day-oni-denim-546-1-year-1-wash-2-soaks/I've started to wear my 575's this winter, usually three to four days a week and they're getting some good fades. I was really beginning to wonder, but guess this is pretty normal for natural indigo which usually has 12-18 dips instead of synthetic which is usually 3-5 dips.

My Kabuki have been getting some real love, lately. Because of seasonal down time from work, and a little holiday gluttony, it seems I have added a few pounds. Not a substantial amount. But, it's enough to make the thighs of my 666's and PBJ's a bit snug. The 546 are not the relaxed cut the 575 are. But, they've certainly got a more roomy leg than the others. Not exactly how I planned to add them to the rotation. But, I was more than happy to get them more involved. They've been my go-to, since New Years.

Yeah, the 546 fit is great. Loving the Olives. Wearing the 575's now. They might get a bath once it heats up here.

and is the 575 cut the roomiest cut they have as far as thigh measurements go? Even if the Raw fit guide is right on those 575's it would cutting it real close for me.

Haha, no. The 546 (which I think is the same as your 517 cut) lists 13" thighs at BiG for a size 36, and the 575 cut is roomier than that by at least a half an inch. They do make an even roomier cut called the Blue fit, but I haven't seen it recently.

Unfortunately my thighs have outgrown my 517's but I'm still in denial about it so I haven't put them up for sale yet. Damn shame too...I'm holding on...

I can measure my 575's, but they'll fit, even if you're Lou Ferrigno.
Just know that the natural indigo is an absurdly slow fader.

My pair, size 36", that have been hot washed and machine dried. Just took a measurement and the thigh is right at 12.5". It feels snugger than that though because it's a fairly rough fabric. It literally feels like a fine rug, even broken in.

I'll double check mine, they're also a 36 but have only been cold soaked. I'd imagine a hot wash and a dry would be pretty dramatic in terms of shrink.
