well, I think I now know what my leather jacket purchase will be, that is, when I can scrounge up a spare $1100 from underneath the couch cushions.
how did you nail your fit? Did you call Thurston Bros?

Worked out very well for me.. helped me figure out the Highwayman was not for me and the Sheene fit my body type better.. |

cool. I'm not a fan of the half-belt look of the Highwayman which is why I like the Sheene. It has all the features i've been looking for in a leather jacket. the fit looks great

Been obsessing after seeing the Epaulet X Aero collaboration. Here is the first shot in the wild of the Chromexcel horsehide in oxblood which I would likely get. This would be my first nice leather jacket. Better picks on their site. Pretty pricey but man.  |

The Epaulet / Aero was close, but still had zippered cuffs and a moto collar. You'd probably have to go full custom with Aero to get what you seek.  |

Anyone know of a good leather tailor shop? I need to shorten the sleeves on my leather jacket and they also have a cuff zipper so it’s not super basic.

Yes, buy an Aero through Thurston brothers and have it made up in Vincenza natural HH.

Thanks northcoast @winterland keep the hand pockets; ditch the zippers on them. Also, exchange the zippered cuffs for buttoned cuffs. |
