you definitely missed your chance a few weeks back when Stag was running their sale.
RgT does a black friday sale so that's the only time to get a discount direct and sizes go fast. check out Grailed - i remember seeing one or two up there. the classroom and and need supply have random coupons from time to time.
i've got the unlined ridgeline - well worth the full price so if you're able to get a discount, consider it a steal.

Stag Provisions is sold out on the Ridgeline. I knew they were having a sale but I think I incorrectly assumed it only applied to certain clothing, like jeans. I'll just have to keep looking.
How would you describe the fit of the Ridgeline? I looked at BOW's fit guide and it looks like a Large should work for me. Was this the case for you? Did you go with your usual size?

yeah, i went with my usual - it was my third supply jacket so i had the fit down. i'm an XL in their shirts and go that way with their jackets. it provides a little breathing room for layering, not as tight as a trucker might be.

The constant comparison of Gustin pricing for the same material to other brands who use a regular distribution model and offer immediate delivery gets a little tiring too. In related news, have you bought something cool yet?

You sound pretty angry. incredibly. i'll probably spontaneously combust at any moment. i cannot contain my rage surrounding the fact that more than one company has produced non-indigo dyed denim pants. must...contain......self. remain.....composed. it's tiring being angry.

Gonna guess not since they're 10oz Canvas.

Brutal. You sound pretty angry. It seems bugula has at least one of everything we talk about here, so he's probably one of the most qualified to make the claim (more if he gave us pictures so we could see the shittier construction ).

In related news, have you bought something cool yet? mm true, but Naturals are incredibly basic denim, just like Heavy Americans. Can't imagine myself spending more than eighty or ninety bucks on them. Even if they take three months, I'm not going to eagerly await their arrival like I would other denims. $81 shipped, sure. $140, mm not so much. Also, construction has been solid on all my G denims, unfortunately none of them tell me any stories but still solid, so that's a moot point for me. Havent bought anything nice lately, but I've received the BrownxBlack Herringbones, and the Japan Silks were supposed to arrive today but they didn't.

Agreed, but if you were really into your albino denim... I actually do love my Nattys, at least did until I ruined them. I considered getting a pair of Naturals from TS during a workshop offering, but I couldn't deal with their price point and inseam. Natty Dos were a no brainer.

So my new acquisition arrived yesterday and I'm wearing them today: 11oz Stantons. The thigh on the 32 is a teensy bit tight, but I'm expecting it to give a little after wearing them for a while. Waist is right on, same with the rise. I'll have to hem them at some point, but that'll have to wait until after the first wash.

I had planned on hemming mine since the cuff seemed pretty sloppy at first, but it's actually pretty crisp now. Sweating them up in 102 degree days seems to be helping.
I'm digging the Stanton fit, hoping they drop something in the 18oz range this fall.

That'd be nice. Now that I think I've dialed in the fit, I would be comfortable with hitting RgT up for my first real heavyweight denim.

the 11oz stretches like an MFer so that thigh will be good in no time.
the 16.75 stantons are glorious. wore 'em all winter and looking forward to putting 'em on again.
really bummed that they're unsanf release was in the SK fit.

You guys who got the sashiko chambray, how do you like it? Is it a summer wearing shirt? How's the sizing? Shrink with a wash? How's it break in?

How well do the 16ers stretch? I would prefer something in the 12.3-12.5 range on the thigh, and it looks like the 32s in 16oz runt he same as the 11oz.

I believe the Gustin American Sixteeners are the same fabric, and I will say it's not the most pliable, but when it breaks in it's great. Otherwise, sorry for butting into the thread.
