Oh and scooter I don't understand what you do and how you fade jeans like they seem to have a year of wear of them in like a month but they look very good i think!.

I work as a steamfitter. Essentially, it's plumbing with a twist. There is no residential component. All of the work is in commercial, and industrial settings. Currently, I'm installing a hydronic heating system in an area hospital. Prior, I was brazing copper piping for cooling units in a data center. Before that, I was part of a crew updating the piping system on finishing tanks, to be used for brewing Blue Moon beer, at MillerCoors.

I'm constantly walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and squeezing into tight places. My work wear takes a beating. Crawling around on top of the finishing tanks did a number on the American Antiques. The job I'm on now is very dusty. I'm frequently knocking off gypsum, from the drywall. Being a hospital, the work area is very well sealed off from the "active" areas. You can't escape it. The general contractor understands we get dirty, but has the expectation we come to work presentable. So, my jawns get a good brushing, when the day is done. All of this contributes to the results.

There are a couple of scenarios I don't care for, though. The evo is so quick, high contrast fades are rare, especially whiskering. The hip and thigh area of the UHR have been worn pretty hard, it's more of an overall fade. Threading, and screwing steel pipe involves threading oil, and pipe dope, which is not too friendly to denim. Demo is the worst of all. Old steel pipe, and equipment is rusted, and usually laden with filthy residual water, water treatments, and sometimes glycol. Stains are unavoidable. Fortunately, I've had very little of that, lately. When I have, I've worn my G Cone denims. I could care less what gets on them.

I'm in my last week of break in, with the UHR. With any luck, I won't get into anything that will mess them up. They'll get a wash, and be put away until fall.

Yeah..... Well written, ScooterMcBrassBalls! Me? I'm an IT guy, and sometimes, I have to crawl under my desk to pick up a pen or pencil that I dropped.

Yeah well written indeed. I have tried to do actual work in jeans but they always seem to get so dirty so they require a wash after every day or i spill Oil or glue or saw into them so they get degraded to workpants only.. Normally im also in my office and I also have to crawl under the desk sometimes.....most often to find the ethernet cable for when the WiFi drops out.

666-UHR. Bought 12/15. 3 or so washes. Actual wears who knows. These edge out my 19oz for faves. Love em.
