Crap, I didn't need to see this! They have my size, but I'm trying to convince myself that the rise is just too damn low. No really, it is. I tried on the 633S and damn near walked out of the store while wearing them. These are way different, right? Save my pennies for the 633? Save your pennies for the 633 if they fit you that well. Although this fabric isn't available in the 633 cut That fabric is amazing! But actually they don't have my size. So crisis avoided.

Ugh ! There has been an unfortunate mishap. I rarely machine wash my better raws. I have a top loader. When I do machine wash them, I wash one pair alone, on the largest load setting. Somehow, I inadvertently washed them on a smaller load setting. Unfortunately, this put them in much closer proximity to the agitator. I now have small premature fade spots, in a number of places. Live and learn, I guess. It just bums me out that it happened to a brand new, highly coveted pair. I've never heard of anything to remedy the issue. So, I've decided to give them the same treatment I'm giving the Antiques..... Wear them hard, and wash them often. With any luck, the spots will just fade in with the rest.....Hi Ho ! Hi Ho ! It's off to work they go !

Ouch - been there, and it sucks. Not much to do but wear and well, you'll keep kicking yourself when you look at them but...

This very well may make for a good experiment. Break them in hard, at work, for 2 - 3 months. Wash them every week, or 2, and see what becomes of them. They will certainly be broken in better than anything I've got in my casual rotation.

A guy in the IH forums accidentally shrunk up his buffalo check flannels recently to the point where they were too small for him. Giles chimed in and offered to take care of him. I'm not sure what became of it but it wouldn't hurt to shoot him an email.

I've never been one to go looking for handouts, though. Frankly, it was my own boneheaded mistake. The jawns are still functional, the fit is excellent, and the denim is awesome. As I said, I'm just going to wear them hard, and hope for the best. Who knows, they may just turn out to be my best pair yet.

Yep, I feel you. did the same thing to my Summer Blues (r.i.p.). They haven't been offered since, and I've been waiting patiently for close to two years. It's a huge bummer.

Well, I put a good 12 hours of time in them, today. My hips are hurtin'. You've got to love heavy denim. There is definitely something special about jawns that wear you, more than you wear them.....

Been wearing my 34s a few days. Feel slightly heavier and stiffer then the 19Ls with a lighter shade of indigo. Was going to stick my waste stretcher in them for the soak as I was a bit worried needing closer to 35" and they were barely 34" pre-soak and had me a bit worried when actually looking at them and coming from a 36-19L:) However, with some forearm assistance they stretched in a matter of hours wearing them. Every pair of IH jeans (21s and above for me) stretch as needed far easier then any other denim I've experienced. Very nice IHUK. Thanks!

It's been almost 3 months since my initial soak/wash mishap. I put the UHR to work, and have worn them 2 - 3 times per week. I'd say, I've got around 30 wears in them total. I've washed them once, this past weekend. They are no joke, when it comes to fading. I plan to wear them for work until Memorial Day, and put them away for the summer. They will go into personal wear rotation in the fall. Here's a few snapshots ( you will see many of the small fade lines, caused by my washer. I'm hoping they will diminish with more wears at work )..... These pics were taken after work, today. No flash was used. Yes just wearing the hell out of them was the ticket.

is the 666 fit similar to Gustin's slim fit? The IH 666 is tighter at the thigh and wider at the leg opening than the same size Gustin slim.

Gustin slims are much tighter in calf and at hem too. And lower rise. I find the 666 pretty close to g straights. A little smaller thigh and a higher rise.

So wich ones are the closest to the G slim? Could even be slimmer since I love my slim loomies.
Oh and scooter I don't understand what you do and how you fade jeans like they seem to have a year of wear of them in like a month but they look very good i think!.

I think I'll be trying the SE 633's myself next year. Those have the taper of the G Slims. Have you looked at the 777's? Those look close. www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-777s-21.html
