I finely decided to pull the trigger on an pair of Oni jeans for this contest.
I am getting the 277XX 16.5oz Contest Edition denim.
I just recieved a conformation from Mahoto at Denimio for the jeans.
It will be fun because pmmmmm00 and zwatson and have purchased Samurai and me with Oni.
I hope other forum members will join in!

Does anyone know if the Denimio's ONI x Samurai Jeans Contest 2016 is still happening? I cannot find any news about it?
I did pre-order a pair of Oni's for the contest. Did anyone else pre-order the contest denim from Denimo?

I did Pre order to last week i have write to denimio for ask them to finaly hem my samurai.
I in the same time ask when they will came out
They answer me only for the hemming.
Hope the contest still going!

Yep, I see they put the pre-order up again. Tempting. My only concern is that they'll arrive in the summer, and 16.5 oz denim in NYC humidity doesn't sound the most appealing.

I just received my Oni contest denim in the mail From Denimo yesterday. I decided to go with the Tempi one wash. As I was not sure of the sizing of the oni 277 shrink to fit. I made the correct choice! They fit me perfectly and still a little starch left in them so they are a bit crinkly. I was surprised how rough and slubby this denim is!
