ON the sidelines, I will be joining with my Japan Jutes. In the same family, and 100% my fave jeans that are not heavies...

I have limited internet atm so hope this will do as a starter entry for my size 38. One wash in the machine, they shrank down to smaller then a 35 so kinda perfect. They look washed out but are just bad phone pic.

Day one -- cold wash, hang dry, unworn (but tried on):

I find that the hand wash cycle even cold gets more shrink than a cold soak. Maybe the fibers are more thoroughly exposed.

After only 2 days, the jury has reached a verdict: Quick faders these shall be..... Fly Crotch Top of back pocket Hint of a whisker Edit: Sorry, pics are awash in white light. IRL, the faded spots are a little more apparent.

Been a very difficult week for me (I guess it's just my turn). Hope this counts as my entry. I've been wearing them since the 1st and really enjoying not having to break them in. They just seem to be nice comfortable jeans.

Apologies for the late arrival of my first picture. Below is the pre-soak, just out of the bag picture from December 3rd. 35 Straights. Click on the picture for a larger image. Attempted to take a picture today after the first ~1 week of wear, but lighting was terrible. Will attempt again and update.

Photo taken this morning. After 3-4 wears, and a single wash and hang dry. Didn't want to wash them so soon, but my pair was bleeding indigo like crazy. As much as I love this contest, I love NOT staining the leather seats in my new car more Getting some minor fading along the folds, but that's about it. Going to wear these to work a day or two this week, as well as the weekend. We'll see what kinds of fading I start to see from that - probably not as much as scooter , but should at least start to see some.
