I love waffles.....  About a year ago, I wanted to nab one of these, in the Henley version. Unfortunately, at the time, Rodeo Bros had them, but only as large as XL. This year, they've got the crew neck (my preference) in XXL. It's a must have for me. I copped a black one. If the fit works, I may nab the grey, and white, as well. |

They can be yes. A Large is really form fitting on me but an XL not so much although it still fits. |

If you like them form fitting, and the length works for you on the medium then the medium would probably work for you as long as the collar isn't too tight. This fabric is pretty stretchy so you will definitely get some stretch. If you go Large I think it would still work for you but it would just be less form fitting. It fit more like a regular shirt or sweater but still look good. If you feel it's too big then a warm or hot wash would shrink it up some. |

OK, well I'm not trying to discourage you or make the process more difficult...just giving you my experience with these. The black and white ones that I have are very thick, solid, substantial, and what you would expect an IH thermal to be. The grey one for whatever reason seriously feels at least 2oz lighter and just doesn't seem to drape as well on me. It also sewed up smaller than my black and white one. |

Well damn...these are sewing up inconsistently. I just received another white one in a Large as my previous white L fit good but this one wouldn't have fit me in grade school. This one's going up for sale if anybody wants it
