Not sure if anybody has shopped here before but in my quest for a 3sixteen T shirt I stumbled across them.
www.martinpatrick3.com
Almost everywhere you look 3sixteen T shirts are sold in two packs but given the fact I hadn't figured my sizing out with them yet I only wanted one. So after some searching I found Martin Patrick who has them available individually. I received my package today and I was super impressed as there was a hand written thank you note and some free samples of mens products in my package (moisturizer, hand cream, hair product, etc..)
These guys are based out of Minneapolis. Maybe Winterland has been to their brick and mortar???
Anyways, check them out when you get a chance. They have all kinds of products from home décor to selvedge denim. Pretty cool place and awesome customer service. As for the shirt I haven't actually tried it on yet but just from holding it and checking it out a bit I am impressed. Very thick and high quality. I'll speak more on it later when I have a chance to try it on.

How's the t-shirt itself? I have a boatload already but am already looking for a couple more.

Yes so by the way guys the T shirt itself is f!@king amazing! I highly recommend these 3sixteen T shirts. I'm buying two more white ones and a grey and an indigo.
The quality of these shirts are like nothing I've ever had. They are all heavyweight and feel exactly like the Gustin heavyweight indigo, I think they are the same weight actually, only softer. These are awesome...just a top quality fabric.
The fit is fantastic as well. A slimmer more athletic fit than the Gustin Ts but one thing to keep in mind with these is that they are long, which I love but some may not like depending on how tall you are and how you like your length on your shirts.
Great heavyweight shirts though guys.

ickes $42 is a great price for the 3Sixteen tee given your reviews. I think it's about the same price as the G indigo.

actually, I think the 3sixteen ones are better than the gustin ones.
I have both and the 3sixteen ones are more substantial and have a reinforced collar.

I do love my heavyweight Gustin Indigo T but I would pick the 3sixteen over it now. The fit is just that much better and the reinforced collar is nice. I still love the Gustin Ts for lightweight Ts, but these are my top pick for heavyweights.

It's a small world. This will go off topic but I was just in there a couple weeks ago. It is located in the warehouse district of the Minneapolis where the new Filson store is also. I stopped by to check that out and then wanted to check out the Martin Patrick store. I knew the area well as I had worked about 9 years in the same space where Martin Patrick store is located. It was a great recording studio facility that started in the 80s. Many hit records recorded there. I had no idea what the store was all about as it is new. I went inside and told a gentleman working there that I had worked in the space for many years. He asked me if I wanted to see where the recording studio used to be located as it was still being transformed. I went in and everything was stripped down to the walls there was even windows that we could never see as they were covered up when the studio was built for the sound insulation properties. It was a little sad but life moves on. It was kind of funny as one of the wood sound diffusers was used to make the bar in the store as seen in the pictures. Here are a couple pictures I took. I will put up a picture of what the studio used to look like later. The doors are different now but I walked through these many times. Sound diffuser bar. Gutted recording studio. Recorded a lot of great music in this space.

@winterland - I would imagine husker du recorded there - I think they're from Minnesota No but The Replacements and Soul Asylum practiced right below the studio in the basement which had rehearsal studios I have gotten to hang out with Husker Du drummer/singer Grant Hart. Recorded an acoustic show way back and got to ride in the band van with them to the show. Have worked with Soul Asylum and members of The Replacements at my current studio. Forgot to mention the Martin Patrick store carries some very expensive items. The 3 Sixteen shirts are probably the cheapest thing there from what I could see.

Love some Bob Mould in all incarnations, too. Very cool.

I haven't been to Martin Patrick3 or any of the other local men's shops in town. The only ones I know of that sell goods to denim enthusiasts are Martin Patrick 3, Askov Finlayson and Black Blue in St.Paul. I wish I had more time on my hands to visit these shops, so I pretty much do all my shopping online these days.

I've been to all three, BlackBlue the most because I live in St. Paul and its close to my kid's daycare. Martin Patrick 3 is huge and sells bespoke suits, furniture, grooming supplies in addition to a pretty wide selection of denim. From what I recall Naked and Famous is the biggest selection, but they have a few more, maybe freenote? Askov Finalyson is smaller and they seem to be the Japanese denim source in the Twin Cities. Probably just one or two brands though. BlackBlue is also small but carries a lot of denim, mostly US brands like Left Field, Tellason, Baldwin, Raleigh. They also carry APC. I've purchased stuff from all three and have enjoyed it.
