I just happen to like the new patch design and the red/gold id looks pretty cool too. I"m curious what fabric these will be. |

The patch is cool, as is the selvedge. Denim looks a little boring, at least in the two shots.
A Canadian company, making an America clothing staple with Japanese denim to celebrate a Chinese holiday seems like it also needs a UN patch or at least an image of Kevin Bacon.

Denim looks a little boring, at least in the two shots. maybe the warp and weft are woven with the ball-hair of a Japanese snow monkey. i'm gonna hold out and see what they come up with. N&F always seems to put out interesting denim, so I figure if they're going all out with a new patch and selvedge id then it's possible the jeans will be woven with an equally interesting fabric |

That patch is sweet. I might have to consider them if they're a silver twist, but other than the selvedge ID (what's with the different selvedge ID coin pocket? just a different pair in the background?), they look like pretty standard 12-13oz denim. It'd be cool to do a collection of "year of the..." jeans from them. If... you know, you can wear the same denim for a year.
