Have not heard anything or received anything after posting order in the other thread. I remember last Christmas I was hoping to possibly receive my order...

In the spirit of the holiday, I think it's only fitting that we put this to the music of the season: (Santa Claus is coming to town): She's making a list, checking it twice, gonna find out who's naughty (complained to the AZAG) or nice (didn't do a chargeback)...don't expect your items this year! (Last Christmas) Last Christmas I ordered from Lawless, the very next year, I sit here and wait...this year, to save me from tears, I'll spend it with Manny or Ciano... No eggnog required.

And pesky Christmas appeared outta nowhere, so that's another two weeks they've bought, plus the obligatory two weeks ramp down and two weeks ramp up they can claim, plus another 6 months for staff illness, customer service training and taking yoga classes.
But they really appreciate your patience and support, so please rescind your complaint from AZAG and they'll think about giving you something you'd never have ordered but that someone else has already paid for. And then they'll think some more, and some more...

Most of us have received the "yes, we confirmed you still have an order" statement, but I for one asked for a timeframe to accompany fulfillment. I did get a "thanks for your patience" response. Patience is a new measure of time apparently. At this point, I'd take the 3 yards of fabric and some hardware and pay someone else to assemble the shirt. I didn't hear squat. And I even said I would accept damn near anything as a substitute. I'm with you - toss some denim and a fist full of buttons in a bag and we'll call it a day.

If Roman had balls, he would come up here and explains he f***ed up, sorry but no one will receive anything.
So I could finally stop thinking about that shit.

My wife received a black leather tote from lauraaa this week in exchange for the skinny stretch jeans they apparently no longer carry. (Laura reached out to see if it was an acceptable substitution. Wanting something for our money, we agreed.) In the same correspondence, I inquired about my shirt and jeans order (728 from November 2014.) Indicated I needed them or a refund. Nothing but chirping crickets in response to that. Thus, my formal complaint to AZ AG.

Since this is about official complaints I did inform AZAG of LD brief foray back into these forums to "make things right" and track people's orders, then silence.

I wonder if the "60 day" window comes into play again with the AZAG, given that it's almost 60 days since the last appearance on here for that group.

A suggested page came up on my facebook for a new jeans start up stating to be based in LA CA that looked like a new Roman venture. Same sort of stuff with $69 selvedge denim with a blurb about why pay too much for selvedge denim, blah blah blah and the girl in the pics modelling the ladies jeans appears to be Laura. Thing is, I was at work so I didn't investigate further, thinking I would have a closer look at it when I got home, but then forgot their name. From memory it was some sort of abbreviation of the word Diesel, but now that I'm unable to find it I'm wondering if I'm remembering it wrong. Anyone here have a clue about this?

Not sure what brand you are speaking of. Regardless, if you haven't seen the other thread, it's worth noting here that it's been more than 60 days since Laura's last appearance here. 60 days seems to be a trigger for the AZAG. Folks with open complaints may want to send a reminder to the AZAG.

That leopard (Roman) isn't going to change his spots. As long as he stays out of the denim world, I don't think any of us care what he does next with his time. If he wishes to sell bags or outdoor gear, so be it, he'll get exposed again when he fails to fulfill orders.
To the point of open claims with the AZAG, he's still most likely in the state - I'm sure those who know more of the back story would be happy to offer up where he might be.
If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go back reading about companies that actually fulfill orders.

I have a pair of unworn lawless jeans. I bet I could sell them for more on eBay by removing the patch and listing them as one-off Japanese selvedge.

Any updates as to if orders are still going out? Mine has been 'awaiting shipment' since August 2015 (ordered April 2015).
