Never thought I'd be posting back in this thread again, but I belong to the USPS Informed Delivery Digest (sends me scans of all the inbound mail being delivered that day). Today's only piece of mail was a letter from the Arizona Attorney General's office. I only had one reason to ever receive a letter from the AZ AG and this thread is why. The scan looked like a check was included. Needless to say, my curiosity during the work day was super high.
Verified when I got home - it's a letter and check from the AZ AG confirming a settlement has been reached with Lawless Denim and the check represents a restitution based on the claim submitted.

I don't know, but here's some information if you want to inquire: Stephanie Paine (Statistical Project Specialist): 602-542-7736 Case is CV2016-007888

Did you get full restitution or just a partial?

Did you get full restitution or just a partial? I believe it was full. I need to look at the letter, but I think I only submitted for 1 item (which was a shirt for $39.50) and that's the amount my check was for.

Hmmmmm. I only submitted for 1 item as well. I think it was for $100 and some change. It would be nice to get a full refund but again, not getting my hopes up.

I'm guessing based on the letter, that a settlement has been reached. I would guess that's not exclusive to just me (that would be weird), but maybe there's a distribution schedule for payments? Keep checking the mailboxes.

Mine came today, but it showed up at my ex-wife's place. I sent her a text this morning to keep an eye out for it and coincidentally the mailman delivered it.
Won't find out how much it is til Tuesday. Now I gotta call my bank and see if they'll let me cash the damn thing

Its awesome that people are getting some reimbursement from getting ripped off. I was one of the fortunate ones who got in early enough to actually get my stuff, although I still give the credit to Sal, who located my orders, and got them sent out. At least this might cause mr. yoga to think twice before attempting another rip off attempt. I bet a lot of folks just ended up eating the loss.

Got my full reimbursement yesterday as well.
Great support from the members of this board back when this whole thing happened.
Thanks!

I got my Kickstarter stuff from Lawless (probably thanks to being in regular contact with Sal), but then nothing for subsequent orders from the "new" website. My restitution check came today too.
I'm guessing from the amounts already mentioned here that the AZ Attorney General must have squeezed out more than the $20,000 initially set aside for all customers? I was thinking we would get a fraction based on the amount of claims, but my check represents full restitution for my claim.
I'm gonna take some time out to write a thank you to the AZ AG and to Stephanie for a job well done. Never thought I'd see any of this money again.

It's good to hear reparations are finally being made. I was one of the fortunate souls. I received one item, and asked for and received a refund on another, when the sh!t started hitting the fan.
Maybe, now, we can finally put this thread to bed. Hell, why not wipe it from existence.

Agreed, keep it here, if nothing else than to be a continuous record of embarrassment to Acevedo. I'm not affiliated to Brave Star, but I think Mik and the boys have shown how to do this properly. All about the denim you CAN get in stock, f$ck the custom buttons, threads and shit. Bet Acevedo wishes he hadn't spent so much time spunking over his own awesomeness now

got a check from the State of Arizona in the order of USD 253.- .... problem is, if I let it cash in through a bank it may cost me more than the face value of the check .... is there any good soul in Arizona who could cash the money, transfer it to a pair or two of local denim trousers, sending it to Switzerland and keeping the change? ... or has anyone got the adress of Manny, if he is still around and producing denim?
