Griffin, my G size is 32 slim which fit less tight in the thigh than xx-012. 26,000 yen is a good price. I paid 220.00 US from Denimio in June of 2014 on a preorder, these were a special contest run and it was a group buy (these have a green leaf rather than the standard color). Be sure you size for the thigh if you get xx-012's. I think I posted this link before in another thread and maybe @untucked has already as well, but just in case, this is a really usefull reference.... www.purebluejapan-wiki.com

It's either PBJ or Fullcount. I was looking at some Flat Heads but I don't like their back pocket stitching at all. @stevekas thanks for the link that is great info. I love PBJ's philosophy on taking pride in their denim and treating it as a true craft and art form. Now to figure out which fit to get....if the xx-012's are tighter in the thighs than the Gustin slim fits then that won't work for me. I will need something with more room in the thigh but that's still a slim fit.

They vanity size, and the XX-012 is definitely tighter in the thigh, but the fabric is woven so loosely, the will quickly get them stretched.

ickes, you'll love them. You can't go wrong and they do indeed treat the denim like artwork. Thy do their own thing, in their own time and they do it well. PBJ and Oni are my favorite denim companies hands down for this reason. What @untucked said is very true, but don't go too close to sausage case thighs as I know you hit the gym. You and your quads need to have a sit down and make some choices

My oh my..Don't know how I missed this thread, but I'm in love with several of the PBJs. I could easily say no to IH, Oni, and a few others that were posted, but the wefts make these stand out from all of them, and put them at the top of my wish list. If I do go PBJ, I'll have to first downsize my Gustins, but I'm very tempted. The orange weft and cobalt blue wefts are calling my name..

They were made specially for Pronto Denim

I love my G loomies more then any other jeans I have had, so PBJ sounds and looks like my route, I just never really knew where to buy them. This is much money for me tho at the moment so have to wait some.

I will post more details and pics later, but I have a pair of PBJ's that I'm willing to sell. They were bought brand new in the "once washed" version, and I washed the one and soaked once. I can't recall the size right now, or the inseam length I hemmed them to, so when I get off work I can post measurements if anyone is interested.

So i got in touch with the maker and we talked for three hours on the phone. He loves that im from Norway and due to the high demand of organic stuff were gonna do a collab where i send him wildgrass grown under the SUN and stars and it will be wowen into the denim making it sortof a hemp blend. They wil be calles 00-xnat as in extreme natural and will sport a green tint like a deadstock. This is pre-order only. I can start talking orders right here and its limited to 10!
Who is in?

Damn...looks like PBJ won't work for me. In order to get a size that fits my thigh I would have to size up three in the waist.

Ill look into oni, thanks.
But have you really looked at all the cuts of PBJ? I believe the threadstarter one is in the extreme.

I pretty much looked at all the fits yesterday on the link that @stevekas posted. Unless I'm looking at something wrong their waist to thigh ratio seems a bit odd. I need about a 32.5-33" waist but to get the thigh measurement I need I would have to order a size 36. No way in hell I'm going to wear a size 36 waist.

I also found that wierd but need a slightly bigger waist so might work for me.

Ickes, you might want to call BiG and check the way they measure and then compare fit charts between BiG and the wiki. I don't think PBJ measures thighs the IH way (crotch level) but I don't want to steer you wrong on a guess. My xx-012s match the Denimio fit chart about 3" down the thigh. Just one data point though.

They're sick.[/quote] Momotaro 0702BR brown weft. I believe there is a 0705BR, as well. Some have the battle stripes. But, if that's not your style, they can be found without. They are on my covet list.
