Just took shipmant of a selvedge chambray from The Hill Side ( www.thehill-side.com/), and wow is it gorgeous. The price is normally high, but I scored it from The Joinery at more than half off. If you can afford their stuff, or find it at a discount, it's well worth it. This thing is impeccably made. They make selvedge products of many kinds, including jeans. American made, if that is something that matters to you. My chambray is made of Okyama, Japan fabric. "Plum Violet" traditional Japanese color indigo dye, corozo buttons. Just very well made.

Would love any macro shots of the fabric if you wouldn't mind sharing. Fabric Porn, if you will.

Man, I really didn't need to know that they were making Sashiko shoes. I was just looking at those. The hideous toe makes it easy for me to resist.

The Chambray/Panama slip on is pretty hot also. I've been eying those bigtime. And sure, exophobe, I'll go take a couple.

Anyone know sizing on these? The army green is awesome, but I'd need them to fit like non 70's CT's to make an 8.5 work with my 9.5 Brannock.

I think they should fit. I am a 10 Brannock and have the same shoe with black sole and wear a 9. I would caution they run slim. I wear a 9 in wolverine 1k, 9.5 RWIR, 9 alden indys.

yeah, i couldn't resist. for $100 they're a no-brainer if you like the style. i went with a 12 (my chucks size - there's a note saying they run slightly large so i'm thinking if they're like chucks, they'll fit and if they're smaller than chucks, they'll fit).

IM ON A BUYING BINGE!!! (Look away 90Day no spend guys) No, not yet on these. But if I can dial in my size. If I'm a 9 in a Chuck would you think a 9.5 would work in a Hill Side?

Non 70's? I can wear an 8.5 regular Chuck but wear a 9.0 70's. So if you wear a 9.0 regular Chuck, sounds like the 9.5 Hill Side should work for you.

I'm good. None in my size. It looks like they run 1/2 size big.

Same boat I'm in. The 8.5 greens are probably a touch too small, especially if they run narrow, and the 9.5 Sashiko are probably too big.

They're in my size and I love them. Though I also love the RL green twill and The Hill Side Endo Leaves print button down too. Agggh.
