hello everyone, my name is harry, and i've been lurking around the gustin forum for a while, but rarely posted anything useful. I'm 26yrs old in AZ, and I work as a production manager for an audio company so I can buy more gustin stuff. I hate buying stuff from multiple places, so I think gustin is gonna work really well for me. they only need to make underwear and socks. I'm dead serious when it comes to "made in usa" or "made in some country with tradition." I'm willing to pay extra for those products, but only if they actually make products that are better than "made in no where." I have a really bad habit - I never wear anything more than once without washing it, even if I wore it for 10 min to throw trash away. Oh, that includes jeans, suits, wool sweatshirts, and other things that are forbidden to be washed. I've been working on fixing that habit, and spending several hundreds of dollars on gustin jeans is definitely helping. I recently lost a lot of weight, so I have a really good excuse to buy clothes, but now this turned into another problem - I can't stop buying. Have you tried Flint and Tinder for underwear (www.flintandtinderusa.com)? The local Baldwin stores in KC have started carrying them, too. They had their humble beginnings on Kickstarter and are made of pima cotton. I wear their boxer briefs on most days.. they're super comfortable and affordable, if you can score one of their occasional discounts. If you're not in a hurry, you should be able to hold out for 15-30% off every so often.

I own Flint and Tinder boxer briefs as well but MeUndies blows them out of the water. They are soooo comfortable and stylish too (your girl will appreciate them I highly recommend.

I don't have any flint and tinder, but meundies is great, and about half the price of F&T with a subscription (you can have a very infrequent subscription and still get the discount, and opt out if you don't want a shipment). If I recall, they're made in Los angeles, but I've got Turkey in my head (not gonna take my pants off at work, though). Can check into it later, but this is like a day behind at this point. *EDIT* Confirmed, made in Turkey. So if that's your deciding factor, Flint and Tinder it is.

So I took Ickes recommendation and got a pair of MeUndies boxer briefs and DAMN are they comfy. In fact they are so comfy I signed up for the new pair every two months deal (honestly, like most of America, I only remember to get new undies when the old ones are falling apart and that's not good). Excellent recommendation!

right on jb, glad you like them. Try to remember to avoid throwing them in the dryer when you wash them, just lay flat to dry. They'll last a little longer.

Excellent recommendation! I did the same. Actually, I got a trunk for me and a women's brief for Wifebert in matching white/navy stripes. Arrived yesterday. We put them on, added tank tops, and then went and told our daughter that we'd decided on our Halloween costume: Sexy Old-Timey Jailbreak! She's seven years old, so she was kind of caught in between thinking this was really funny and thinking she should probably put herself up for adoption before it's too late. I also picked up a couple of the thongs for Wifebert because she loves that stretchy lace and modal stuff for day-to-day wear. The style that MeUndies does is similar to her usual go-to, the Hanky-Panky low rise thong, and it's a little bit cheaper. So far, so good. Mine are really comfy, and the fit is good. Wifebert said, "I would totally wear these [the briefs] as my normal sleeping bottoms all the time. Get more." Then she spent the rest of the evening wearing just those and the tank top around the house while we did some tidying up and decorating for Halloween, which was a very agreeable form of torture.

Also, it occurs to me that this discussion of underoos should probably be moved out of the Introductions post and into its own thread somewhere else.

My favorite draws are from American Eagle & its taken me a longtime to find a pair that I like for everyday wear. I like/need the longer Boxer briefs & A&E for some reason fit great but also keep everything in order all day.

Everyday underwear (don't laugh): Nike Pro Combat 6" compression shorts.
They last forever and look brand new after years of wear, great for running/gym, great for keeping cool, no bunching, and for those of us that ride a motorcycle most of the time, they keep everything snug to avoid "vibration" issues.
I can't remember the last time I wore cotton underwear.

I wore cotton 'trunk cut' underwear for years, but was looking for something that would be lightweight and pack small earlier in the year for travel. I read about uniqlo's airism underwear and ordered a few pairs of the trunks. Once I got back home I ordered more and wear them pretty much exclusively now. They're comfortable, no bunching, light, no sweat sponge, look good, and dry quick for those times when you're hand washing your clothes in a hostel sink.

Meundies looks wayyy to long in the leg?
I use BjörnBorg and I tumble dry them all the time and they have held for many years. This is important to me, I dont have the time (in my urban lifestyle) to hang dry more stuff then I absolutely have to.

I have Flint and Tinder boxer briefs with the shortest leg option and they're great. Wait until they have a crazy promo sale and they're $5 or less and they're a damn good deal. Never tried meundies, but they're way better than Gap/AE/CK, etc.

And you can send some to military folks for $5.95! That's excellent.
