Hello guys, I made this account to chime in and say my natural indigo cone 16s also were small...about 1.5 inches small in the waist. Sad to see that it wasn't just my pair but many pairs were affected as this denim is awesome. I am in the middle of losing weight so I'm going to hold onto these instead of returning them, as there is nothing really else gustin offers that I'm interested in anyways. Disappointing. You should reach out to Gustin regardless, let them give you the option to return/exchange or at least get credit or something. Credit off of a future buy could be worth having on hand.

Oh I have already reached out to them, they just said send in the jeans for credit and pick something else basically. I then asked if they have received any (proper) returned 34 slims and they said no but to check back in a week.

Heavy Italian, Grey Silk (2), Zimbabwe, Cone BluexBlack, Cone Slub, American Sixteener, Cone Black, Charcoal Organic, Brown Organic, Japan Deep Indigo, Double Black 23...

They have no exchange for you, and they did not deliver on their promise. If they won't refund you, file a chargeback with your card company. Gustin does this WAY too often.

I've never heard of them refusing to refund someone when asked. First they try to get you to go for credit, as most retailers prefer, but if you say you want a refund they may become short with you, but there's no reason to believe they wouldn't based on most of the reported experiences with Gustin, and my own.

For some reason I thought this wasn't possible, I've never really been in this position before but you guys have convinced me to ask for a refund. They ended up emailing me another pair of the natural indigo 34 slims that were returned and they were even smaller than the ones that I have. The whole situation is just very disappointing. Thanks everyone for the advice. Also can I file a chargeback if I paid with a debit card and not credit?

So, i am being crazy here? I feel like the sleeves are obviously assymetric and the collar button does not line up with the box pleat. When I sent these pix to Ren at Gustin, he said he didn't see a problem. Still waiting to hear if I can get a refund vs. store credit.

Man, for a Gustin shirt, that's pretty much a 99 or 100. I feel weird defending them, but that looks about as good as the drunken sea seamstress is gonna do.

If she could just lay off the sauce for another 5 - 10 minutes, we may have something. He does have a point about the sleeves. But, that's more indicative of poor cutting.

Buying a Gustin patterned shirt is like putting your kid in a Syrian daycare. It may be cheap, but deep down you know it's not going to turn out okay.

Your eyes are not deceiving you. The pleat is off. But, I think it probably looks worse than it is, because you have a dark pattern line accentuating it. Personally, I'd live with it, if all else was well. However, those sleeves would bug the hell out of me. Sleeves with a distinct horizontal line should be level with one another, if not in line with the body. If it were mine, I'd return it.

Yeah, the sleeves are so obviously mismatched. I pulled every other patterned shirt I have out of my closet and all of them have symmetric sleeves. The button and box pleat thing is not as obvious, true, but the more you look at it, the weirder it is. Thanks for for making me feel less crazy.

Not IH prices, but not exactly cheap either. I have come to the (belated) realization that patterned shirts are best purchased either in person or from a company with an immpeccable reputation for construction (e.g. ratio, IH, etc.), solid shirts have some more wiggle room.
