Some of you have been kind enough to send me images and idea of what you would like to see. Lets talk about that. Give me what you want to see in styles . Fabrics are a bit trickier but I will see what I can do. I'm about to get some new designs into production next week and I would like to take some of your ideas with me when we start. If your local come down and get involved. FYI I have a WABASH WORKSHIRT in the works. Just waiting on fabric confirmation. WABASH IS A GODLY FABRIC. Wabash shirts, vests, jackets +1 and +2 for the vest! Will find the pics of some I like...

I have a pair of 17oz Iron Heart IH816 Ducks that I love. They go with denim exceptionally well & look amazing with the harness brown from my RW IR. I will get some photo up of them later But for now let me show you my favorite chore coat. I think it is likely the best looking version out there. Look at the contrast version..fricken perfect. Like to see something like this ferr sherr The newspaper pocket is clutch as well as such a nice touch & a pencil/pen slot WHATTT i also love the tellason chore/coverall jacket. i was really close to getting that before getting in on the taylor stitch project jacket for about $80 less. i've wished once or twice that i had opted to go with the tellason instead.

Wabash!!!!
But one thing I would like, and its not hard...is actually lighter fabrics. Personally I work in an office now (omg can you believe) so there is a limit to how many shirtjackets I can have. Most of my daily rotations are normal shirts where 5oz is beefy and kinda warm inside. I would love to see 3-5oz indigo chambrays and different color selvadge, exactly like the normal shirt you have with the option of 1 or 2 pockets and normal buttons instead of snap. I like the non-button collar and everything else about the shirt exactly as is. Maybe the non-snap would be harder to make and it might not be what you are about, im just thinking the overal style is perfect but for me personally the snaps and heavyness makes me not able to own 10 of theese.

Scooped sides (with selvedge showing) on the work & western shirts.... Make it happen and you have A+ #1 customer ready to buy. are you wanting the entire bottom edge to be a selvedge edge, or just a selvedge gusset added like in the pic? Good stuff David, YES a selvedge gusset, just like this. when it's flat all the way around it resembles a dress with a super high midriff because work shirts settle around the hips (if untucked) unlike classic jean jackets that rest on the waist where flat edges would work

Griff, From my experience, the shirts I have with snaps are on heavier weight stuff, like 8oz. and up. They don't feel like they add weight to the shirt, but I can see if you had snaps on lighter weight shirts, they might not work quite as well.

It was mentioned somewhere on this board that Lawless has really progressed since those were made and waiting for a new run will likely get you a better finished product. It will be worth the wait.

I don't know how long it will take to get the walbash. What other fabrics do you like? You mentioned the Brittish millerian canvas.... If you could make a pair of pants with'em, I'd be down some unsanforized denim as well

Lets all put some sort of list together & then put them in order of importance. This way we arent throwing so many different things out there which Roman will have to source himself in small amounts at a time (COSTLY FOR HIM WHICH MEANS POTENTIAL HIGHER PRICING) unless we are providing the fabric ourselves. We can come up with some signature stuff that could be turned into a few items that would be great for us as a collective group but also others that are going to Lawless.com for the 1st time to see & be WOW'D.
WHAT SAY YE??

Griff, From my experience, the shirts I have with snaps are on heavier weight stuff, like 8oz. and up. They don't feel like they add weight to the shirt, but I can see if you had snaps on lighter weight shirts, they might not work quite as well. I might have explained myself badly here. I feel that the look of the garment gets too cowboy-looking with snaps for some certain surroundings (like work) and would like an option of normal buttons mostly for the look of the shirt.
