exophobe I hear ya, I'm in the same boat. Most likely the custom shirt I have ordered (same $89 price as you) will be sold as a RTW. So what do I/We do? Not buy the RTW in hopes the custom is made. Or buy the RTW and hope the give us a credit? Lol, I even bought stupid leather coasters (sister inlaw saw them and wanted a set)

How's this Diabolical plan... If I haven't recieved my custom shirt (that I paid shipping for also), I'll Buy a RTW shirt when they come out. Receive the shirt, then dispute the charge with my CC as not recieved. Who's to know which shirt I recieved, the RTW or the custom? I didn't recieve one of them.

Or, how about, you stop buying from this POS company? By giving them ANY money you're giving them an interest free loan to screw you over.

In talking with Roman, he said that the Fall line up of RTW would include Shirts made with the heavy (think it was 22oz) Pendlton fabric. Id have a hard time not buying a nice CPO style shirt in that maroon/grey fabric. But it would have to be sub $75 The thing that disturbs me about this is... the thing that disturbs me about this is people are still willing to give him money.

For The Children, Those American Workers have Children, Think of the Children! No. there's just a very small part of me that wants something (a heavy wool CPO would do) After a year of Drama.

While the citizenship of the workers in Arizona could be up for debate, their children are probably 'Merican citizens. In all seriousness, what is the timeline of "favorable behavior" from LD before people consider reinvesting in them? Is it the heavy wool CPO offering as a RTW? Is it a year of production with no issues? I know step 1 for me is fulfillment of everyone that I have endorsed this company to (here and offsite). Not sure what they could offer that would rope me back in. I think he's been going to the well with the more recent heavy offerings as a way to try and temp the masses. Funny thing is, it doesn't seem to be working.

matt I guess that was what I was thinking/posting out loud. What would it take for me/others to buy again? Can LD even survive long enough to get the custom orders made? Most likely I won't ever see anything from LD. I doubt Roman will call me back. The RTW fall line up will come, with me just watching the same Shirt I orders 10 months ago be offered.

I seriously cant believe that the question of purchasing more products from this company is even seriously being considered by some. Why? None of their products are anywhere near spectacular enough to go through the bullshit that is required with this company.

None of their products are anywhere near spectacular enough to go through the bullshit that is required with this company. I got 5 (good) pairs of for $189, so that's why I did it. It just so happens that they're the only maker that's doing a fit I like. Their regular straight falls somewhere like halfway between Gustin's regular straight and their slim, which is perfect. No other maker is doing a fit like this. They all sport a fit with a too-high rise, or the trend of the minute tiny-ankled skinny fit (which is a ridiculous look on anyone but 'underweight' young lads under age 25). Design-wise, are they as nifty as some of the high-end makers jeans? No, but I'm not someone that would spend $200+ on a pair of jeans anyway. I'll go back to cheap-o Levis 501's before I do that. I'm taking the RTW ordering thing one order at a time. Still waiting on one pair of the 16.5's. If that order works out, I may pick up a couple shirts when they do a RTW for those

i'd take one pair of rock solid jeans at $200 over 5 pairs of middling quality jeans for $200 but if the fit's not there, the fit's not there.
i'd argue you'd be able to find something you liked from the japanese brands if you did some research on it.

Tellason, Rogue Territory, Left Field, Railcar and an almost impossible number of other American companies offer a fit between G's two fits with a lower rise than G's Straight. Ciano will do semi custom and actually delivers. If you can't find a Japanese fit to work for you, you're not looking very hard.

For me its all about the heavy shirts for the price. It would have to come to a point where people order and recieve shirts for a while and it goes smooth. The RTW started good but went south fast, so a littl elonger then that have to pass for me.....6 months of ok delivery?
I could see myself get a coupple of different chambrays and some western shirts of different indigo hues, mostly japaneese but maybe some american aswell. There is no way I can do this with IH bc money..
/edit/ the jeans also fit me good. I put on the 18oz and they fit like made for me right out of the bag (a little tight - perfect) this is never the case with gustin or any japaneese brand I have tried, I always have to try some shrink-ectomy on them....but I actually dont feel like I need more jeans now, I cant fade the ones I got, but when I have (or I have lost/gotten paint on) I could see myself get some 23oz in the future.

I'm just trying to imagine the situation where you lost your jeans. It's probably something boring like luggage buffoonery though, which makes it far less fun.

Lol I just meant them being thrashed or getting holes, or in some other way makes them not wearable to work. We dont have a strict code at work so faded used non dirty-looking non-smelly jeans are fine but I would guess holes or shreds is out of the picture. I also need most of my jeans to be -goto- jeans that I can wear nomatter if its to work or not. This means when they get to a certain state I need to stop wearing them as much and start fading a new pair.
Right now I have only 4 pairs of jeans i cannot wear to work and about 8 that is good and 4 that really needs more work to get "in the zone" wich is basically when worn for a year, washed and worn some more and washed again and then they are amongst my perfect zonies.
So 4 might not sound like many but actually will take 4 years to get right!

Not sure if I will ever order from them again. Too much bad PR and making me look bad to my peers when I praised the company early on. I can't respect that. But, I was curious to see if people have a line they'd be willing to reconsider on.

That said, whatever "confessionals" we throw out there, we'll need the mods to delete them so Roman doesn't get any ideas that he can "borrow" and lure people back in.

If he lures people back in with comparable ready to wear, I would trade in a heart-beat just to be done. I'm not going to take $55 jeans in exchange for the $98 shirt I already purchased. My last order is more indigo jeans, which have easily been displaced while waiting for them to sort this shit out.

But, I was curious to see if people have a line they'd be willing to reconsider on. They are dead to me! There are many other options out there now with companies that treat people like they want your business. I think it's crazy that anyone is still sending them money and then they are surprised they don't meet deadlines. Equally crazy, expecting RA to do what he says. He has show over and over that he will say anything. At this point the only people that should be buying from them are the ones that just find out about them and believe what they say, then order immediately without doing any research. All the members here should know better. If you get sucked in on the RTW and delivery exceeds the quoted, they give you the run around ect. I say oh well, we're you expecting a miracle? Around here they say "a dog don't change its spots"

They've gone from incompetent to criminal in my opinion. I expect to see legal action against these guys sooner than later. And I could care less. Done. Finished. Over.
