How is the fit for standard Taylor Stitch shirts, like the Jack? I typically wear Medium-Slim in J. Crew Factory. However, the 44" chest size for the 40 M is making me hesitant to purchase and I'm questioning whether I should size down. Neck isn't a big deal for me because I rarely use the top button. The size chart doesn't even list a shoulder measurement.

Post runs to quality. Not taking a position, just passing it on because it's been discussed before. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk gaseousclay you can rest assured the factory in Portugal is family run and choosen for a specific reason. With our model of constantly shifting SKUs and short run production numbers, it actually doesn't make that much economic sense to not manufacture outside of America, unless our fabrics are sourced from that region and the quality of the factory is top notch. While I do hear the sentiments of the MIA comments on this thread, when you look at taxes, duties, and all the other associated costs, we're not manufacturing outside of America to take jobs away. There are just factories that make more sense in our supply chain and if the quality / wages are fair, then to keep our prices from skyrocketing (which people seem to think we're expensive already for MIA) then we're forced to make decisions that's best for our customers and company. Happy to go in-depth further or write up a blog post on all the factories.

It came in a bit too small. I can wear it, but it's uncomfortably tight. I later ordered a Short Sleeve Bandit in Medium (40) and it fit much, much better.

I assume Ratio has that on lock in the USA, but have never laid down the cash to find out.

Anyone have any experience with their chinos? Yes. What are you specifically looking to understand? I'd say they are fairly true to their fit guide and there is some shrink if you do any sort of wash/tumble dry.

That's pretty much what i was looking for. I tend to wash cold and hang dry almost everything that is a non-basic, but i'm glad that there is minimal stretch. My cheaper, "throw away" chinos have tended to shrink very quickly, even with hang drying, and are paper thin.
Do the TS chinos feel substantial? Like, is the weight a good balance for work and dress?

Mine are in the wife's control, so warm wash and dry. No more than half an inch of shrink in the waist and less than an inch of inseam. They're pretty heavy at 9oz, so they're office only for me and lighter khakis like Save Khaki are my casual go to. Of course now that TS seems to only make them in Spain, I'm out anyway.

Recieved the Red Buffalo Plaid Moto today. Going Back Looks and fits great except for the 2 Right Arms. Left side cuffs and button face up not down as does the right side (and all other shirts).

Be the only guy around with a buffalo moto short sleeve.

I received my camp pants in today in 11.5-oz. Cone Mills natural selvage canvas.
I'm trying to decide between warm and hot soaking and I'm pretty certain I'm going to get these and my green herringbone hemmed.
Any experience in shrinking this fabric?
