Looks like it's the same weight as their other oxfords which is comparable to the weight of the Gustin oxfords. Btw, I know a guy who's selling the charcoal version of this oxford over in the For Sale thread  . He'll cut you a smoking deal on it. I actually heard he's dropping the price on it to celebrate the latest oxford drop from TS . |

I'm thinking about going with the ash chinos. Has anybody got a pair of TS chinos ? I'd love to here any feedback. I'm entertaining these. Not a Summer chino, but I think this is the same fabric they just released in 9.5oz brushed Spanish Twill, for the Highland shirt, and it should make for an awesome pair of chinos. I don't own any TS chinos, but I prefer the TS specs over the Gustin chinos. The Gustin cut has too much taper in the knee for my preference. |

By the way, I was debating this thing some more, and is this a reinforced elbow? I don't know how I feel about that, and there's nothing in the description (I read it like three times, whiskeyriver!). It's also funny how I've never thought about the shape of the hem of a shirt until Gustin threw those damn scoops in theirs.  |

That is a weird shot. I assume it's just part of the sleeve placket. They show the back of the sleeve in the detail shots and it's clean.

Yeah. Sleeve placket. I have one of their oxfords and it's the same. It does look like a reinforced elbow in that shot, but TS employs an extended sleeve placket.

Who's going to enable me with discount codes so I can break my 90 day to get my inner Johnny Cash on? the Long Haul trucker seems nice enough but I rarely wear black with the exception of t-shirts. plus, it's not slated for delivery until October, by which time it'll be pretty damned cold here in MN. i'm also unsure of the fit guide. Is it just me or do the sleeves seem abnormally short? |

i would strongly urge anyone tempted by the trucker to not buy the TS and go get the 3Sixteen Type 3.
i can't speak for the fit/quality of the TS jacket but i can tell you that the 3Sixteen one is the best damn denim jacket ever created.

yep - had to go and check right now because i didn't even remember doing that. there's so much love for this jacket, a few fans have designated tuesdays as type 3 day for it on instagram. |
