I just got off the phone with Mina, inquiring about the workshop Highlands Twill shirts. She said they are shipping from Portugal, and when they get an anticipated arrival date, they will update via e-mail. She said we should have them within 10 days. The founders sent an email about it this evening

I really love that TS actually sews up a shirt to show us rather than throw a fabric swatch on a tree stump and expect us to understand what it's going to look like. And yes, I really like how it looks.

And yes, I really like how it looks. Agree. It does seem like a no brainer to show what a shirt will actually look like sewn up! The fact that G doesn't do this, has certainly stopped me from considering a lot of their stuff.

The fact that G doesn't do this, has certainly stopped me from considering a lot of their stuff. The fact that G just can't sew a patterned shirt is a bigger issue for me. Add in the horrible cut and bad product shots and it's easy to just pretend like they don't make shirts. Shoes will be similarly easy to ignore.

granted the blossom shirt's a bit busier but i picked up the 3sixteen floral popover not sure if i could pull it off but i've never had so many compliments on a shirt before. so in other words, you won't know unless you try.

I dig the floral shirt.
Honestly I'm looking for a 100% linen floral shirt sleeve shirt.

The day I buy a vintage ferrari put me on suicide watch. Only a masochist buys a vintage Ferrari or someone that hates money and loves old status symbols.

I received a shipping notice for my Khaki Twill Highlands Shirt. I'm probably going to have to return it, since they said they couldn't cancel it a few weeks back.

It burned up in a housw fire. But it was fun to drive. Not fast, but sounded great, the gated shifter was fun and you looked like a goofy 80's tv star.

bentin - the 328 probably caused the house fire and that is serious. I've driven a 308 and it was horrible. The money spent vs. What you receive is a big thing for me. A 1999 6spd 360 I'll buy. But a 348/355 or earlier no way in hell. I'll keep my Z06. Currently looking for a 1st gen Camaro or 70-72 chevelle. Keep me posted!

brentkuz, a Z06 is comically better than a 328 in any performance or economic realm. The 360 wasn't much special outside of the Challenge version. The F430 is where they started to become a true performer. But the flat plane V8's sound terrific and the manual ones are always fun to drive. If I had the means, I'd buy a 550/575 in a second though. I'm looking forward to the Mustang GT350 and it's flat plane V8, early videos sound great. Shame they're not using that motor in the latest GT(40). It was a lightening strike that took out the house, it's mostly newer Fezza's that seem to self imolate. My dad had a 330GTS when I was a kid, I saw a nice one not long ago in Santa Fe. Oh, and I still need to order the pyramid shirt.

bentin - yeah you should get that shirt! I wish something G offered really popped to me. Back to cars. The 360 was at least a car for the driver not the status symbol seeker.

Both of the new california shirts look awesome. I haven't bought from TS before and it looks like they vanity size quite a bit. Anyone know how their medium shirt compares in length to Gustin's slim large?
p.s. before you tell me to look at the size guide, TS measures from the front and Gustin from the back.
p.p.s. before you tell me to go measure the front of a G shirt, know that I am too lazy.

If you wear a large Gustin don't order a medium, unless you hope to return it for a different size. The 42 is about equivalent to a Gustin large, unless they've changed their fits significantly in recent months.
