I have the Chambray Glacier in tan also. Great shirt, as well as all other TS shirts I own. Very consistent fit with all of them. Look for some heavier stuff coming down the pike from these guys soon.

Man, I've been going back and forth on that hoodie since yesterday afternoon. I think it might be a little narrow in the shoulders for me, though.

That's probably about right. I'm an XXL in G and 46 in TS.

I wear a 46 in TS shirts, and they are consistent at 25" pit-pit. Their size charts are accurate. I just hope the XXL Gustin work shirt is accurate, in that it should be very close to TS sizing. Should find out soon enough as first round of work shirts should be shipping at end of the month.

That's probably about right. I'm an XXL in G and 46 in TS. Agreed. I'm an XL (Tall, dammit!) in G and a 44 in TS. On the other hand, I believe Ickes said he's a Large in G but takes a 40 in TS. Bottom line, I guess: TS fit guide has been reliable for the two shirts I've gotten from them.

Funny to stumble upon this. I just received my first two TS shirts about 2 weeks ago including the Sea Washed Indigo Selvage Chambray Glacier Shirt (tan) and the deep indigo Jack shirt with the stars. Both amazing shirts. I see myself picking up a few more especially the chamois. I'm an S in Gustin and got the Pine Water Repellant Canvas Project Jacket in a 38 chest (anybody have experience with how the sizes correspond?).. I'm assuming nobody fudges the actual fit-guide measurements (only the waist size) so they should correlate pretty well. I've been looking for an alternative to Gustin and all the comments about TS pushed me over the edge.

could one of you describe the 'democratic fit' for their denim? is this their straight fit?

Democratic fit is their straight fit, its a bit bigger in the top block, so validate with the size guide which is accurate. Luckily they have a forgiving return policy on full priced items.

Looking at TM shirts -- I thought they looked a little expensive IMHO. But it sounds like maybe I should give them a try?

went denim, and am looking forward to it. Expensive? sure, but in my experience the 10% off on release day and the fit/quality/made in use is worth it for me.

FWIW, I inquired at d/d, and a new batch of ts mechanic's shirts will be available in the spring.

I was eyeballing that one also, but I already have a couple shirts very similar, so might wait and see if it makes it to last call, but I doubt it. That new British Millerain that Roman has looks pretty sweet also. I have to be careful, so I don't end up with more shirts than I reasonably wear.
