You can rid the site of banners by using a browser extension like "AdBlock". Note though that this site is free, and removing ads effects their revenue.
Not telling you not to do it. But it's an option.

I use AdBlock and didn't even realize that the banner ads had started.

This site is the best thing that's happened in a long time.. I can live with banners! Great job to the admins and mods. I can live with banners no problem . . . the one thing that i can't deal with, though, are the highlighted words that you accidentally roll over and a popup appears with an ad . . . do you know if that happens as well? There should not be any popup ads. Proboards does not allow them. If anyone sees anything like that let us know. I don't think the ads will bother me after I get used to them. I just felt like I was violated in some way when I first saw them.  |

You admins should think about somehow adding Lawless in the name of the site. It seems like Roman is engaged to the point where it might be warranted. Maybe "Gustin and Lawless Friends" or something...

Maybe "Gustin and Lawless Friends" or something... i think there has been some discussion re: the name of the forum, as it has become more than simply gustin talk. however...i'd vote for a brand agnostic name for the long run |

Can be a place to come for that. I dont know if it would even be able to grow like that if it were to specific . Guys, we are definitely looking to change the name and I think I speak for all of us (admins) when I say that we agree with some of your thoughts and ideas regarding a name change. We will keep you guys posted.

Actually, I like 1 thread per sale code . . . provided that posters put the expiration date in the title. It's nice to be able to open that topic and see everything in the thread titles. I think a good thing to do would be to allow posters to create new threads for codes, but lock replies so they stay sorted by post date with the newest on top. |

They are meant to give people a heads up on where sales are I agree with about everything you say on this board with the exception of this. Why do we have to delete? Just let the most recent codes float to to the top so you know what's new and when it expires. Shouldn't have to go into an individual brand thread to see what the sale/code is. |

We created a Favicon for the forum! What is a Favicon? The little icon you see on the very top tab when on a website. It also is saved when you bookmark a page. Ok it is not that big of a deal but now you know what it is.
It is small but it shows denim selvedge, same as on the top banner in the forum.
