I'm on the list! I'm thinking about stitching color. I want something different than pictured so there's no doubt they aren't carhartts. What do you guys think? Maybe black?

I'm tempted to go with these instead of waiting for the 18Oz Orche Partly because they're available now and partly because 30 should be tougher than 18 But are they practical? You said they were okay unless you sat down? is that because they were too stiff? I'll be using them for work so I need to be able to move  Can you put the articulated knee on them? yes we can put the articulation in the knee...they are good to go on walking around..they are a good solid pant...you can work in them...Mike has been wearing his for a couple of days now and he said they will crease and break once you wear them...He has been deer hunting and cutting firewood in them so far..He has said they are a good pair of work pants...He did mention he wished he had the articulated knee. |

As in: When I turn off the lights to go to sleep I'm scared they're in my closet, standing up by themselves, quietly beating the shit out of my jeans collection and giving every pair a horrific blowout. If you want some, contact Ciano and see where they are at on those. I was told they have enough to make 20 pairs. If I decide not to have a pair made, you can certainly take my spot |

here are the pictures i promised. Now I know i had too many beers..but the size is a size 36x32 901 Slim..I am making a size 32 for someone to try on so we can see it on a smaller size.. we are going to adjust the pattern on this with dropping the front rise from the waistband about 1/2"-3/4" This 901 slim does not look so slim... I like the cut, usually i wear gustin straight, gustin slim is ok but not better than straight for me. but this fit looks good : for a 34 straight Gustin (usually 34 inseam), what should i order ( fit, waist and inseam) ? and btw, we 're still waiting to order this beast, do you think, we will do soon ? cheers |

Ciao has added this to the website. I received my sample awhile ago and wasn't KO'd. It has a strong texture and I'd guess you'd call it a loose weave (not sure). When viewed on edge there's a honeycomb look. Just seams like it would want to catch and hold dirt. I'll look closer at their canvas offerings. Also the stated 1/8" measurement is way off. I measure it to be .045 (< 3/64).

I just ordered the 30Oz as well but I'm not sure about the waist measurement. Is this supposed to shrink an inch after wash too? My Gustin size is 32 and I ordered 31 in Ciano. Has anybody had any experience with G vs Ciano sizing?
