Romeo will be on the sidelines at least four or five games. Then that's 2 or 3 losses at best that you tack onto your record. Can't lose more than 5 or 6 games if you hope to make the playoffs.

I'll wear those orange pants for a year straight if we win a playoff game.

I'll wear those orange pants for a year straight if we win a playoff game. Your SO will not be happy with all the positive sexual tension you generate whilst out in public. Go Cowboys! (I can't believe I just typed that...yuck!)

Just wait for our epically bad pick at 4. Probably a deep snapper. Only our owner thinks Romo is any good. Your owner would be right. Numbers don't lie. Romo has been behind some terrible O-lines, with that only getting corrected in the last couple of years. And even with that, he is #5 on the all-time career completion percentage list (behind Drew Brees, Chad Pennington, Kurt Warner, and Peyton), #28 in career pass completions (just behind Aikman, Jim Kelly, the underrated Steve DeBerg, Jim Everett, and Johnny Unitas), #27 on passing yards (just behind Jim Kelly, Steve DeBerg, Jim Hart, and Jim Everett), #21 in TDs (just behind Aaron Rodgers, Sonny Jurgensen, Dan Fouts and Drew Bledsoe), and #3 all time in career passer rating. Oh, and he's tied for 16th all time in career game-winning drives (ahead of Kelly, Bradshaw, Unitas, Stabler, Staubach, Theismann, Plunkett, Aikman...)

He has good stats. Early in the game, early in the season, etc. you can have him.

He has good stats. Early in the game, early in the season, etc. you can have him. We have veered wildly off topic here, but was anyone a Grantland reader back in the day? Their main football writer, Bill Barnwell, was always a supporter of Romo. Here's one example from the archives: grantland.com/features/bill-barnwell-week-5-nfl/Suffice it to say, I think there are probably about 20 NFL teams who would gladly trade their QB for Romo. As a Bears fan I would trade Cutler for Romo in a heartbeat. Ironically, the shut down of Grantland made me look for another website that I could read during down time at work. That led me to this forum. So I have Bill Simmons to blame for the denim explosion in my closet.

I think it's much more than that, actually. I think there are only a couple few that would choose their own QB over Romo.

You guys like your teams draft picks so far? Tunsil has been a disaster off the field, but if he pans out, he could be an absolute beast. Like DeMarcus Cousins on the offensive line, and boy does Miami have offensive line woes. I wouldn't mind if they went back to back on offensive linemen.

I thought I'd post up concerning showing respect for the Colors, during the National Anthem. iMO, showing respect for the flag, has NOTHING to do with any of the current protests that people are concerned with. It is showing disrespect to which gives them the right to protest in the first place. Word has it that the Seahawks will be standing in unity, and I surely hope so. Many people have died defending these rights that some folks take for granted. If they were to protest like Kaeperdouch, then I would turn off the game, and go riding. Just my 2 cents.

Which would be you exercising the exact same rights as they are. Protest isn't about making sure that the people watching on television at home are comfortable with the idea they're being presented with.

I support one's right to peaceful protest, but I guess for me its more of whether one is a patriot of this country. I think its a generational thing.
