All email but when I told him about the fit problems he gave me his number and we spoke on the phone getting my measurements down. Remember guys size up with heavy/thick fabrics. Inside diameter and outside diameter really do come into play. I got too finicky at first with fit but I am dialed it. Once again I want to say these were my issues measuring and trying to get that perfect perfect fit. Not Ciano's mess ups. just trying to determine when I should get impatient.

I need to stay away from this thread. I placed my order about 2 weeks ago which means I'm approx. 4 weeks from having my orders ship. I can't wait to see what cianofarmer sends me!

Once again I want to say these were my issues measuring and trying to get that perfect perfect fit. Not Ciano's mess ups. I totally agree that id/od come into play, specifically when this is not taken into consideration. I had a conversation with Ciano about this issue (example of Gustin's Beasts), where they sewed up a size small. I was told that they do take it into consideration, and cut the fabric the fractional amount to account for this. I have a pair of 12oz, and 18oz, and they fit exactly the same, so with my experience with Ciano at least, I wouldn't go up a size for this. Both pair are a 32 905 fit.

Received my 18oz brown duck chinos today. Fabric is amazing duck at 18oz is bullet proof. Thick heavy but not startched at all it feels. This leads to easy wear nsx a great drape. Thankfully since the weight is heavy. Sizing: I ordered a slim fit size 35. They can in perfect to spec all measurements are on. I messed up. The Ciano slim fit is very low rise. Just too low for me personally no fault to Ciano at all. They are getting shipped back for another pair. Customer service is awesome. I say that Ciano Is the company we wanted Lawless to be but couldn't. I can't imagine this duck being all that different than IHs 17 oz duck work pant, and with Ciano, you get the choice of zipper/button fly, thread color, or pant style. This and the fact the the IHs are $325 from IHuk. I know they can be had cheaper, but still, Ciano offers great value here, and lifetime warrantee, and repair.

The 18oz duck has to be similar to the IH 17oz. Sal sent me the iron hearts so they should be here soon to compare.
I did a vintage penny too button with corozo nut buttons everywhere else.
The Ciano slim has a much lower rise than. G. I wouldn't go up a size for the duck in the 905 fit but when it came to the 30oz bull denim a bit more is needed. I didn't mean size up an entire size but at least some measurements.
Both the 30oz and 18duck will measure out basically to a IH 633 fit. When I get them back.

If you had a pair of those that were tight fitting, all I can say is good luck on that. I likes me some heavy denim, but had to pass on the bull denim for parcticality. Ciano said they are done with those.

Def a little larger in the waist will be good even if I drop 20lbs.
Low rise jeans that sit on my hip bone. No matter what I do my hip bone won't get smaller. 37" waist will be money. Can't wait to send them back to Ciano...and get them back!

Anybody with this stuff in-hand, would you mind sharing the interval between order confirmation (post paid-invoice) and delivery? I'm not trying to start any shit, just looking for some information.

If the 4-6 week deadline is correct I should be getting my summer weight Cones in the next week. That's amazing. Ciano almost beat my J17s from G, even though I placed the order almost 3 months later.

For me, it was 9 weeks from the first mail to the first wear... (i'm overseas) well for consistency purposes, it's from when they take the order until they ship from their end. Shipping can very from a couple days, to several weeks like in your case. How long did it take from order to ship for you?

Thanks for sharing. Ciano says I should have my duck canvas 5 pockets mid-next week, really looking forward to these, though I'm nervous about whether they'll fit! Took me like three-four pairs with Gustin. It seems he's pretty awesome about alterations, though, so that eases the nerves.

Here are a few pictures of my 12oz Duck chinos after a soak. Love the fabric.. The pants are very comfortable though thick and the construction is amazing.. Ciano is the man.. I think white shirts pair well this this shade of brown. What other color shirts do you think work with this color? I am still waiting on my dark brown Duck..

I love that color. I've got the same fabric in the five pocket with brown thread coming in the next week. Hoping I got the fit as good as you did there!
