So far, what I'm liking about Ciano is that he does a good job at a fair price. No fancy talk, no ridiculously low prices overwhelming his capacity and a sensible balance between orders coming in and going out at a sane timescale.
Still waiting on my jeans rebuild and have two jackets in the system, but I'm confident I'll get them within his 8 claimed weeks maximum.

I do have to say that I like how it turned out. Ciano will be offering this in all the new colors he has on tap, so I would think he will end up making more.
It was inspired by a vest that Mister Freedom does, and Ciano was able to get hold of some patterns from someone he knows, and this is actually from a late 1800s vest.
The cool thing with Ciano, is I talked to him about making this for me like 4-6 weeks ago, and he was able to make it happen in 6 weeks, and I'm still waiting for a vest I ordered from Lawless 5 months ago, and counting.

That is a beautiful vest. I haven't pulled the trigger on anything from Ciano yet, but I've got a running tally of things I want to order once my budget opens up a bit. This will be added to that list once he makes it a regular thing.

This will be added to that list once he makes it a regular thing. With out having a pair in person it seems the duck canvas and 30oz bull denim are some of Ciano's best. Can't wait until the Texas loomstate denim is in full swing!

cianofarmer has anyone asked about adding a coin pocket to the chino construction? I really like the way these are looking in all the pictures being posted. The chino version is better for me to be able to wear to work but they don't offer as good a place to clip my knife on. I have an older pair of chinos with a coin pocket which is a perfect spot for the knife to slip in. The picture isn't of mine, but something like this:

They are good at incorporating features you think of. I'd suggest shooting him an e-mail and see what he can do.

This looks great ... exactly like those MF and the fabric is very nice too.
Ciano also works on a different style waistcoat with patch-pockets and w/o collar.
Looking forward to those pics ...
overdRAWn .... Germany

I emailed Ciano like night asking exactly that, about a vest with patch pockets and no collar, showing a Wabash example, and he said that someone else wanted exactly the same. Maybe that was you?

Sounds weird ... but might be me ... Ciano is a good guy me thinks. He already mailed me some pics of the waistcoat in prototype-form ... cool.
