What color thread is best for the 18oz khaki canvas chino cut? Personally, for chino, I would stay conservative. For 5-pockets, I'd go nuts with some red/green/olive etc.

I want tonal. They offer copper and brown. What's the most tonal choice?

DANGIT, popped the button off my 12 oz ducks as well. Apparently this fabric has no give and all the stress goes straight to the closures. usctroll send them back to me and i will put that copy disk on them... Cheers Ciano

I sent them a message on their website too. Does anyone on this thread have the khaki canvas and can comment on what color thread you got?

I have a pair of the 18oz khaki on order, and should be getting them soon. I consider a heavy duck fabric like this a definite casual type, getting stuff done chino, and went with green thread for something a little different. I have a swatch of this, and the color is a darker khaki for sure.

I emailed them and they sewed up this sample just for me! It looks like they do have khaki thread, even though it's not shown on the website. The only problem is that they all look good! I don't know what to choose. But I think I should just go khaki.

to my eyes, the color here is lighter than my actual sample material.

Yup, the khaki is a bit darker than that photo shows. I'll probably go far left or far right..maybe even white

Ciano has answered ever email, PM and phone call I've ever sent them. I changed my sizing and options a few times with no issues at all. They really have been exceptional to this point. Of course I haven't received my duck 18oz chinos nor my 30oz bull denim. But so far the ordering has been almost painless.
My only gripe is the invoice which takes a few days to pay process.

I just placed my first order with them for 2 pair of 12oz chinos. I'm pretty stoked to get them - it's going to be a hard 4-6 weeks. I agree on the dealings with cianofarmer - they have been great to deal with. Great communication, great customer service, and very courteous. I can't wait to see how the chinos turn out!

For those of you that have received the canvas duck Chino was what have you seen in terms of shrinkage?

For those of you that have received the canvas duck Chino was what have you seen in terms of shrinkage? An inch in the waist, which Ciano accounts for on their fit guide, and an inch in inseam, which he also added to account for after wash.
