Really want a customized Lawless WS in a G type fabric like the Hickory Stripe WS for instance. I think I'm not the only one that would like to see LD get into Japanese selvedge twills! Let us know when they're coming Roman -- I'm sure there will be plenty of orders if you can source a rich fabric like that! From what I can tell a lot of guys are stoked on the custom fit of the LD shirts, but the truth is that denim shirts are more restrictive in terms of where and when you might want to wear than a nice twill. My 2c. DD was asking who wanted to see some of the new fabric last Friday night here. I saw some really interesting Hickory Stripe fabric from those pictures and you should ask DD for them.

Are you seeing this brah?! I need you to post these up so all can partake! (Or maybe they're loaded up and I can't see them ... my browser's screwed up... I'm in Australia right now and everything is upside down...) I've been sticking denim WS from LD in my cart all weekend but just not pulling the trigger (more than once anyway) because I'd like some twill broseph! So tell Roman he needs to to twill me up, son! Like I say, I ain't the only one!

I think the Hickory stripe was US made but we will be doing a bit of fabric shopping Tomorrow & maybe Tuesday as well. Roman is now going to concentrate on some great fabric options as well as new designs. I promise Hickory stripe fabrics will be available as I think we have a few we are waiting on.

My 2c. I'll second this, as I have a couple TS Japanese Twill shirts that are fantastic. I would bet that Roman could make some fine shirts from this.

I can’t even believe Roman is offering a 24oz wool western!!! This is my dream build: 24 oz. Marron/Gray Wool Men's Shirt Shirt Style: Montana Fit: Slim Size: Large Thread Color: Black Button: Marble White Button Snap Cuff Closure: Two Chainstitch: Double Chainstitch Too bad I just spent all my winter shirting money on an IHSH-107… Edit: roman, just noticed that the fabric color on the 24oz wool is called "Marron" and not Maroon on the site... Might want to fix that... I changed it to now have the color corrected to Maroon. Im gonna have to go through the site and find anything else. I witnessed why there are misspelled words happening, Roman and Laura post listings straight from their IPhones which you know how that goes with predict a text. We are on the run so much that a lot will be done in hotel rooms or in cars believ it or not. I would be driving in LA like a New Yorker does and Laura & Roman would be in the seats next to me putting up new items. We were like a food truck but for work wear

Dirty_Denim I think it would go a long way towards marketing if you got a shirt built, so buyers can visualize how different options will look like. I find it very confusing to make a choice between different button types etc. My 2 cents.

We will gladly listen I'm with marauder, there's not to many "out in the wild" or "in Hand" shirts. The pop over pics are nice to see. I can invision more. For example these heavy 24oz wool fabrics. I'd love a CPO in one, but by the swatch alone its hard to imagine. Does it fold, crease, drape, bunch, ... Is it thick like a jacket or a shirt... Etc,etc A shirt made up in one and post on IG or here would go a long way.

Dirty_Denim, let me add, that not seeing any shirts (there's been a few jeans) here or on IG isn't faith strengthening. I would think LD would have a couple of the KS shirts made up that that they could snap a few pics and post. Not that I'm worried. but if it's crossed my mind that I'd like to see some of the backers finish product (but haven't), I'm sure it on a few others mind.

I promise this was a biggie this week so it will happen

I/we will be concentrating on better photo's. While I was there i tried to do as much as I could as I feel the same way. I wanted you guys to see stuff happening and being made mostly with some completed product mixed in. Even though I was away for 4 days, 2 of those days I traveled 10 hours so I really only got 2 days there. The plan is to have me in AZ alot more moving forward with me staying weeks at a time. I just have to work that out because I have a 2 yr old daughter & a wife who I hate leaving behind. Either way A lot will start to happen moving forward. Roman is seriously committed and will do whatever it takes to make the web experience much better as well as production improvements. Everything will get smoother as we go.

I'm starting to wonder if people are finding the examples on the lawless site. Obviously not an exhaustive set of examples, but they are there. if I understand correctly, most of the shirts (and the chinos) have been designs for about a month to six weeks. If someone can't see it, then this certainly doesn't help, but we know of some other vendors that hit the third or fourth run of a product with a certain fabric and still don't have full product shots. Here in a few weeks I'm betting this forum will be flush with detail shots and reviews. The wool fabrics landed on the site something like a couple weeks ago, seemingly a couple days after they picked up the fabric. I'm excited for their stuff too, but we should keep in mind how fast things have moved over the last few weeks. This includes the addition of a number of products we were begging for on this forum, which is pretty damn cool. Plus, I'm pretty sure roman would be too embarrassed to ship shirts his team had cut the selvedge ID off of (yeah, that one is smarting a bit).

exophobe, I hear ya. I guess I'm thinking of the KS shirt that I backed in June. 6 months is a long time to wait for a shirt (Gustin has been a 3 month wait). Don't get me wrong I have faith in LD. But I'd like to see some pics. And I'm just thinking of others that may be new to crowd sourcing.

Well, given a work shirt i.e. less likely to get buttoned all the way up, I'd not worry about the neck so much. OTOH, if you're one of those guys that does button them all the way up - I know some - then you'll need to maybe go more customized. The only shirts I care about neck size are dress shirts. Fit guides are a PITA. On the one hand, they should be easy to interpret. On the other - what does someone's size guide mean? Are they stating the actual size of a finished product or the size of the wearer? I always ask this of a new maker (new to me) before I buy. Then, get your favorite <fill in the blank> item. Measure it, then write those numbers down. Use it as your guide until it no longer fits you. It will go a long way towards getting satisfaction. But you need to ask the maker what their size guide means. Once you get past the "off the rack" method of buying, it's tougher, but more satisfying when you get it right. I am one to button up (gives me a snug fuzzy feeling inside Seems that my lighter shirts (older flannels, chambray, dress shirts) fit fine and have a 16". But the heavier stuff has 17" neck. Have you had collars tailored? How do they come out? Just saw this post...DigDug, I'm comin' at the same situation but from the opposite end...am I a fathead? (quite possibly, lol). I have a 17'' collar but I prefer 17.5" for a workshirt...sometimes I button to the top (usually when it's COLD outdoors) but I've always felt it was cool/comfortable for the collar to be a little loose anyhow...don't like the collar to be too snug...but, yeah, an extra inch is the limit, for me personally. Two of my IH shirts had collars which, to me, seemed sort of '70's disco/Burt Reynolds style - in that they seemed disproportionately long. My tailor lady was adamant that she'd shorten the collars on both shirts. She did. She's a perfectionist, bless her. Even though I'm thankful for the result it seemed a bit ott to me (to be messin' w/ a non-faulty top-end garment...and, from my experience, 9 outta 10 tailors would've ruined the shirt). Shirt collars are messy/tricky to alter well - & my tailor was impressed by the particular challenge offered by the IH shirt collar!. But, I was only shortening the collar length - not the circumferential collar measurement, which I believe would have almost zero chance of turning out well. I agree w/ Old26's words...& I reckon that Roman might well be the answer for you & me (& all our uniquely wonderful pinhead/fathead friends & acquaintances ) 'cos getting purely one-off/bespoke shirts - especially high durability/heavy construction workshirts - is a costly & slightly tedious biz; acquiring fabrics, snaps/buttons, poly thread, fittings etc. I have 2 tailored workshirts - they're great but I'm not keen to repeat that exercise. Yeah, I'm hearin' ya, tricky biz, DigDug & my personal solution is/will be...Roman.
