OK, weekend plans are halted. Wallet elves engaged!
You'd be amazed how much work I get out of my kids by withholding food.
KIDDING.
It's the beatings.

speaking of...i have a complete set of the voltron lions i need to toss up on ebay. so if you want some real life inspiration @stevekas let me know (my mom brought me some old toys when she visited last month. ended up selling a few hundred dollars worth of transformers, m.a.s.k., and he-man toys on ebay) I love old toys! Dude....m.a.s.k., I had so much m.a.s.k. shit, I loved those toys. You're the only one I've talked to that remembers or even knows what m.a.s.k. was/is. lol...that's awesome man. I believe there was a m.a.s.k. cartoon as well that I used to watch but I could be wrong. it was funny because i didn't remember them at all until my mom brought them over...then remembered how i was the only kid i knew that liked those toys when i was young. they were actually made much better than much of the other stuff i had at the time. i remember there being a cartoon, but don't remember details.

I think the people behind M.A.S.K. made the simple calculation that ripping off Transformers and G.I. Joe at the same time would be more efficient and maybe, just maybe, a little less obvious that way. I know for sure I had a lime green motorcycle that was also a personal gyrocopter or some shit. Plus a few other ones that I don't remember. I think my brother had a jet of some kind. Those things were rad.

Where do you store a long wallet if you're not wearing a blazer/suit? Seriously though, in Asia a long wallet is necessary. Imagine, traveling to Bali, and you exchange $300 to Indonesian Rupias... You hand over 3 crisp Benjamins, and get back 3,000,000IDR rubber banded in to a brick of money like you're about to make it rain at the strip club..... Impossible to tri out even bi fold that many bills

I don't wear one. Right now, I carry a shinki (The Japanese company) shell Cordovan long wallet, without a chain. My jeans don't droop like the guy in the pic, and also his pockets are very low... My wallet is never exposed, because my shirt covers it. This Japanese shell is thin and plastic-y. I need to upgrade to something more rugged and durable.

A first review from a very very happy customer !!! I just get the beast belt and i did not think you could talk so much about a belt but it is a strong one. Before getting this jewel, i get a nice communication with steve, regular status about the order and even an epic private thread about voltron (i did not understand everything). the package, just a little bit dissapointed by that, i would like to have a cigar box but i get a more regular box that my wife will be happy to make scrapbooking with it !!! opening of the jewel case (sorry if there is too many pictures but i think it worth it !!!), (i did not want the belt keeper on the belt) the ring i knew it is a thick belt but it is even more than i thought !!! Front and back... (really large buckle, larger than i thought, seems so strong and unbreakable) the ending point of my belt, note as it can stand up alone without any help !!! Fit : perfect !!! but it is gonna some wear to break in and to close and open it in less than a minute !!! i ask for light conditionning... do you guys can give me any advice pleaz how long should i wait before making another conditionning, with wich product... conclusion : sorry if it takes a bit long to read that but i think you won't read a belt review of mine before 2062... I bought a belt in 2015 for my whole life !!! (pardon my broken english)

I try to quote your message but it is just too much work to remove all the image links on mobile phone.
Anyway, thanks for the pictures and it is very nice. I don't have this beast belt but I am very impressed with the the construction and workmanship of my brown leather belt from Steve. I am regretting now on not sell my G Natural belts and back this one instead. I remember this leather is limited and I hope Steve will offer this again.

I use Obenauf's which does darken leather. Not all conditioners do. Putting natural leather in the sun also darkens it. Did that too.

I did Obenaufs, too.. used a layer of their leather oil and waited overnight for it to soak in. Then I put a layer of their LP on top.

Impossible to tri out even bi fold that many bills I travel frequently and just use a Zippo money clip for bills and a vertical card holder. I've been looking for a vertical bifold cardholder made of some monster leather for awhile. I have one from Etsy that I love, but we're all kind'a addicted to stuff that's built like a tank, ages beautifully, and made to last forever.

..to bring this back on topic. thomasss.. that belt is freakin' awesome. We've got so many talented artisans on this forum like roman, stinky, and @stevekas.. someone should start a company called "patina" and just hire all their asses.

I received my monster belt too yesterday and I couldn't be happier. My Gustin 12 oz natural belt looks like a little baby in comparison to it. I won't post any pictures as there plenty of them a few posts above. The workmanship on this is obvious and it came in right on spec. The edges are bevelled and burnished beautifully with beeswax, the leather 14-15 oz Hermann Oak - super thick and stiff to begin with. I got mine with english point tip and 1.5" width. Buckle is solid and hefty.
It takes quite a bit of effort to buckle and unbuckle this monster. My G jeans have the belt loops quite close to the top button and the left belt loop is fully stretched out from the triple width of the leather at that point. My only minor gripe is that the belt is as wide as the buckle opening so it doesn't slide through easily and I have to slant it a little. Overall I'm very happy with it and looking forward to years of breaking it in and being broken in by it.
