So this thread has gotten me thinking about future Indigogene denim jeans. And I have a harebrained idea!? For using the INDIGOGENE logo. Dirty, If you do some heavy indigo-indigo denim could you do a hidden helix design in the back pocket? similar to these Momotaro jeans? I read that Momotaro used thin strips of leather in-between the pocket liner and the denim to get this effect!? I wonder if they have exclusive rights to doing it this way? Or is there a better way to do the stealth logo thing? I think you where talking about this hidden type design in the above posts if I am grasping it correctly? I apologize in advance if this is way off topic for your new denim company at this point.

I only spoke to YKK this week as we were still working out some of the logo stuff. The buttons will take roughly a month alone and the stamp we will use about the same time. We havent decided if we are going to simply stamp the pocket bags or have e screen printed. We have the same decision with the leather tags although i like the idea of heat branding the leather So at a minimum 4 weeks for launch but we will release some samples before that

Look for us to do many different things with our jeans. Stitching designs and maybe a useful small pocket inside of the back pocket as well as a few nice details inside the jean

With all the soaking we tend to do to them, On a few of my jeans the embossed logos on the leather patch is barely legible! I bet the dark scorched logo brand will last much longer.

Thats the exact reason why we thought to heat brand the leather. Most simply stamp the leather which looks fine but as u said it washes away with a soak and dry

Heat branding is the way to go. If you get the moisture level in the leather right, the heat level right and the pressure of the brand, you're gold. It will last as long as the leather.

DD, what's the denim used in the IG pic with the hat and boots? Looks like an Indigoxindigo.? With a smooth look (sheen). And keep the pics and videos coming on how the jeans are made. That denim is a Candiani 13 oz Indigo white weft. Its tightly woven and very inky I want these!!!

This is the starting point for our 3 fits. Eventually we will be selling some jeans that i will refer to as early samples. Those samples will have sizing consistent with these charts but also have some unique details we played around with on a specific day. Unfortunately the straight's thigh measurements are too small for mine...

Yeah the thigh measurements are looking too small for me too but like benjaminpersitz asked I'd like to know where the measurements are taken.

2 in from crotch. Again guys these are sample measurements lol. We are far away from releasing a final product. We have made 2 pairs of jeans so far so be patient. The measurements i posted as I stated are for the "SAMPLES that are going to be released. Once we get feedback on those "samples" we will make adjustments on the final product. I should say I am pretty big in the thigh area and i fit in the skinnies and the slims. At the same time I am sure there will be people who cant buy anything from Indigogene so we cant fit everyone. Thats what petite and BIG FELLER stores are for.

When u guys gets a chance Take a look at the measurements on self edge, Tate & Yoko, Rawrdenim Scout. Compare the Indigogene sample fit charts to brands u already wear and some others. I found that we are comparable to many other brands fits. What are u seeing as problem areas . I know some will have problems and some wont but lets see what U have to say.

What i mean by this is tell me what are the usual problem areas for u guys with these other brands. Thighs, rise, and top block fit, with the latter being harder to quantify but it means Gustin straights, for example, are uncomfortable. The Leftfield Greasers have my favourite measurements/fit, which explains why I own three pairs. Lifting weights and cycling are the cause.

for the slim, i need to get to a 12.5" thigh. i wear them in all other brands - your thigh measurements are coming in on the skinny side of things at a 35"+ waist.
