I haven't technically moved on although I bought something like 5 pair of jeans from Gustin in 2014. I don;t think I bought any from Gustin in 2015. The only pair of jeans I ordered just recently were the 21s(since they were such a good deal) which I hope will ship soon. Unlike many here, I haven't had a large amount of problems with QC. I prefer to get my shirts from Taylor Stitch nowadays and I've gotten some denim from Rogue Territory and Railcar. I still like Gustin's chinos(except for the annoying button fly).
Haven't been that hot on the sweatshirt, hoodie, sneakers, boots etc. I can find much better made in USA deals out there.
I'm a bit disappointed by the progress(or lack of) from the company. The site looks the same as 2013. They'll be the Geocities of crowdsourcing fashion if they don't update their website and work on their presentation.

Way back time machine...AKA, the Gustin Store

I'm done with jeans as my J21's seem to be the only one to come in a full size smaller than spec. Good thing they are soft and stretchy, otherwise they would have gone back. I'm got too many unworn pairs as it is, should probably put them up for sale as I'll never get to all of them.
I'm still open to their sneakers as they are a great value with the leather they use. And the t-shirts are decent too.

If moving on from their chinos, where have you started purchasing from?
Their slim fit isn't as tampered as I would like however I like the fabrics and quality... where can I get a slimmer chino at similar quality and price?

I've heard Taylor Stitch has a slimmer fit and similar quality. IMO Gustin's chinos are definitely one of their best products.

I can't speak to Jomers (don't own those...yet), but comparing TS and G, the TS slim chino is much more slim compared to the G slim chino. The G slim chino is closer to being in between the TS democratic and slim fits. Overall, a great fit, and I'd second the notion from kylepa that they are one of the best G products. I like my TS chinos, but the G's (I have the Navy American chino) feel more durable IMO.

Well, I've finally reached the moving on point. I backed the Salt and Pepper Workshirt. It had a March/April delivery estimate, and seeing no update since April 1, it's guaranteed not to be delivered until May, earliest.
I've got all the basic indigo denim I need. The Japan 21 will be going to work, this fall, and I still have the 16ers, ACs, and Antiques(fade contest) in that capacity, as well.
Big picture, the wait times have gotten old, and most of the product is boring me.
I reserve the right to come back, though. If the workshirt suits me(when it finally arrives), I will consider another, IF they finally wise up, and offer it in the monster twill and heavy flannel fabrics they get their hands on. I'm not holding my breath.....

I think in order for me to consider buying more from them they'd have to continue offering interesting denim and at competitive prices, otherwise, they're reaching N&F territory and I might as well buy from them at that point

I've moved on mostly due to the inconsistency and, as others have pointed out, the lack of growth and the seemingly longer and longer lead times. I think they source some of the best fabrics, in terms of shirting, but some shirts I've bought shrink, others (in the same size) are too big, and a few are just right. The Ts are great fabric(s), but I need them to make a slim option. I'm really trim, and the Ts fit great everywhere except the chest, where they balloon.
I find TS denim much more interesting, and I don't have to wait two months to get it.

atblay TS shirts seem slim to me haha last time I tried it on in store. Sorry, man. My abbreviations got confusing. What I meant was: Gustin t-shirts (Ts) balloon in the chest for me and seem sized too big. I like Taylor Stitch (TS) denim a lot, as well as their shirts, which fit nicely.

I've bought 3 pairs from them in the last year, but that's it now. Their fits aren't great (too loose around the calfs) and while I support their business model, waiting 2-3 months every time I want a pair of jeans loses it's appeal in time.

What cut are too loose around the calves? I've found them to run too tight to just right in slim cut, yet to have them too loose.

What cut are too loose around the calves? I've found them to run too tight to just right in slim cut, yet to have them too loose. So I ordered a straight pair first, but they were really baggy around my calfs. Not the fit I was expecting at all. I've got big thighs which meant I couldn't go down to the skinny fit, so the next two pairs I bought were Slim. Even they aren't as tapered as I'd like to be honest but they're comfortable. I've taken my Straights into the tailor for some aggressive tapering.

I'd prefer the thigh of the straights and the knee/cuff of the slims.

Never moved on. Nor got in. I only have a Indigo tee from them, and then the Wabi Sabi WS. Their Regular L sizing is ridiculously short for me, even though it fits in other areas. I'm also not convinced that the wait for 2-3 months for a shirt is worth it. I know I almost forgot the tee by the time I got it.
I AM thinking about getting one of their boots. Looks like they use nice material at a good price. Might be worth it for my first pair.

Just realized that I haven't backed a pair of G's or bought jeans from their stock store since September 2015. I don't think it means I'm going to never buy again, but I think I'm really only holding out for a couple in the future - Loomies (never got in on these, although want to now), the Organic Jute that Old26 sold me on, and maybe to replace the Sixteeners when I finally wear these out in another year. I guess I did move on since I've been buying from different brands to try them out (mostly when a deal is offered). I think I just appreciate the quality offers at a value.

Same here. Haven't bought anything from G since Sept '15. Part of it is that I just have way too many jeans....enough to last me years in fact. Sometimes I see something interesting that tempts me but then I talk myself out of it. I'm more interested in shirts/tops/jackets at the moment, so there's that.
