disheveled does that shirt drink scotch on the rocks and play Uno in the kitchen while smoking lucky strikes? If that shirt was my Grandpa it would totally be doing that at the cabin....but oddly enough that shirt reminds me of my grandpa too, so I totally get what you're saying with the cabin 50s vibe. Unfortunately their sizing doesn't work out for me or Id probably pick up some of their shirts as well. Lol, I do miss Uno and Lucky Strikes--never did combined the two I didn't realize I was into any "vintage look" then I got this shirt in hand and appreciated it more than I could have expected! Thank the Japanese for awaking my Norman Rockwell nostalgia.

man, i'm finding some of SDA's drops to be hit or miss. OD just released the new SDA zimbabwe x memphis selvedge type 2 but I can't stand back pleats on denim jackets. makes me think of those folded napkins you see at fancy restaurants.

Not bad.
Having had lined jackets like that years ago, I never cared for getting darker shirts covered in those little pieces of fuzz.

I think ranch jackets are where SDA excels above other brands....and maybe Pherrows. the above jacket would look even better with 2 pockets on the front but i'm nitpicking. I think Denimio has this same jacket for around $300....SE has it for $400+.

Digging this shirt. If I hadn’t just bought the Denimio x SDA collab jeans and a momo shirt I’d be all in, but on a mini spending freeze. (Would love to see a side by side between this and the ihsh-191 just in terms of fabric weight and construction.)

Can anyone tell me about their workshirt sizing? I'm eyeing a size 38, but I've read some places that their 38 runs a standard 19" pit to pit, while others say it's closer to 18". Any more first-hand experience would be greatly appreciated.

So I decided earlier this month to take part in the Denimio fade contest, I guess to amuse those of you who think such things are silly? But mostly just because the chance to visit Japan and meet the people who make the jeans I love sounds like a dream. So I’m trying to go all in, and have dedicated an instagram account to just this, tracking the daily evolution of the jeans over time. The account has been private until now as I’ve tried to figure out the best style, but I’ll be making it public very soon. In the meantime, if you want to check it out the Instagram name I settled on was: denimartist112
I’d definitely appreciate your support!

Good luck on the competition, but if you don't win, maybe try to go on your own. This is the best time in the history of the universe to travel (I think this includes the past and future...travel is cheap and easy and there are still pockets of culture before we become one big homogenized blob of one singular culture). Airbnb's are easy to get and often have free pocket wifi's which will help you navigate. On the other hand, we all have constraints and obligations that don't always make travel easy or practicable. Now go make them fades so sick that the brahs get sick from jealousy of the sickest fades evar, huzzah! (also, I think Osaka is a lousy town for touring [it appears that is where Studio D'artisan is located] but the bullet train can get you to Okayama in about 50 minutes at $80 each way...Okayama is even more sparse for touring than Osaka, though...but Jeans Skreet has all the names [all of them...except for the ones they don't have])
