They just restocked them at RB brentkuz . I finally picked one up this weekend. It seems a little oddly sized. It'll fit either a little too big or a little too small. Exactly what disheveled said devastitis. I anticipate this shirt to be a great fit.

Have you washed your 33 yet? They are made slightly oversized because they will shrink with a wash just like the 85.

I recently had a brand new cotton shirt dry cleaned and it got a hair bigger. I like how it fits now and don't want any shrink if I can help it.

About the shrinkage, when IH says made over-sized and slight shrinkage expected, does that mean the pre-wash dimensions are more than stated on the sizing chart, in anticipation of shrinking?
I've given all my shirts a warm soak and didn't notice any shrinkage but I wouldn't want to get any more.

IHUK measures the garments when they come in, and take an average for 2 garments in each size. No estimations of shrink are factored in to the raw numbers that they publish

Cross post from the general discussion thread;
My 85 landed today from Japan. It's everything I thought and wanted it to be. Simple, classic, clean, and sharp. Fit is damn good and I can afford a bit of shrink so hopefully it won't shrink too much after a cold soak.

I'm giving my 85 a cold soak right now, really really diggin this shirt. It really doesn't feel like denim to me, feels more like a canvas.

For me, the 85 is a must-have IH staple, like the 33, 07 and a UHF.

The nice thing about the 85 and black 33 is that they look totally different colour-wise despite both being black, so no crossover whatsoever. The 85 will look solidly black and cool forever, and the black 33 will only get even better as it fades, getting even further apart in colour from the 85.

How long do you like your shirts to be? These are longer than the 127's which might be a problem for you if you go XL even after a hot wash. Yeah it's tough...I would say either L and cold hand wash/hang dry or go XL and hot wash.

Maybe it's better for people on the taller side? This and the 107 are my best fitting IH shirts.
