We are working on something cool for what you are asking. We plan on simply updating people via sending out communication via email and social media. I had this idea where we would be able to update you on ur Facebook if you have one or whatever other Social media you have, similar to what Dominos does with that Facebook update. Roman has an idea to possibly implement it. Either way there is something in the works. Roman has some other ideas as well that will be added to update people. I agree quality over arrival time is best but unfortunately most like to believe everything in the world around them runs perfectly. I have to say that I would much rather a simple email, or even a current status on the order details would be far preferable (and, in my mind, easier to implement) to social media updates. As facebook is getting more advertisement savvy, I try to keep that sort of information out of my feed. Something you said the other day made me think a milestone type update would be best. If I have custom measurements, I should know when they've been sent to the pattern-maker and locked down, otherwise Lawless ends up doing the work twice because you guys are way too nice and I decided I need the taper to be slightly less severe than I initially thought. If I'm able to just make changes willy-nilly, you may have already put the order in to the pattern-maker and now I end up pushing myself back to the end of the line and relaying my order two weeks or more because I was being finicky. As someone that does project management, I don't want you guys to get swallowed up in order creep. Yes the email update is being worked on. The facebook or social media thing would be something you can choose to add ur facebook name or not. Its a reach as it requires a lot to happen with coding.

I must say, you guys must be quite swamped. My inquiry emails (3 to this date) have gone unanswered.

To clarify we will be sending email updates as the order progress through production. Cutting table, Sewing, Detailing, Shipping (with tracking number). We are working on a new bar code scanner system that should be in place in the next few weeks. The status update will be sent to your email and added to your account under notes.

That does sound great. I was more inquiring on the tentative idea of when the order will start, that's all. Originally quote first week October was 4-6 weeks or 6-8, depending on customization. From what was said in this thread, it is looking to be at least 8weeks.

I have to say thank you Lawless team for putting me at ease. I have a small wardrobe coming with 2 jeans, 1 chino, 4 workshirts, and a utility jacket making changes to honestly every single item in regards to thread color, buttons, and most important sizing. These changes were requested most of the time separately in speaking with Roman, Laura, and Sal. Needless to say I was pretty skeptical.
Checking the website this morning I notice that every single request, except minor, has been updated.
Keep up the good work.

Retail is hard enough but add on that you can customize the purchase and it adds a few more steps and worries for the customer. I know how I feel when I am dealing with a new web store so it can be a nervous time, so thank you for giving us a chance to help you out.

I have somewhat lost track between the kickstarter, one order on the old lawless site, and 2 orders from the new lawless site:
kickstarter - cone double selvedge shirt; dark grey Nihon Menpu jeans; mystery denin (16 or so oz. slub jeans) old website order - 18 oz Kuroki jeans; chambray shirt new website (two orders) - khaki tan chinos; khaki tan utility jacket; then the military drab chinos and Candiani IxI WS
I think that is it - Roman or DD, can you confirm this is what you have on your end? Thanks!

I ordered an Oregon workshirt in the Navy Checker. I'd like to order more, but I'm still unsure of the sizing, want to see how it fits me, and want to see some reviews from you guys when this stuff starts showing up in mailboxes.

@wils you should check IG. i'm assuming that's your shirt being worked on. the weft of that fabric is way more brown than the product photos made it look...can't wait to see it in person.

Which shirt? did you look on IG? Dirty_Denim has been posting some photos of customer's products being worked on. i assume (incorrectly?) that one of those he posted today was yours. note: he corrected the description from 'shirt' to 'jacket'

I was looking at the official Lawless IG. Yeah! It is an Utility Jacket that I ordered with the Candiani 12 oz herringbone. My very first Lawless item... excited.

@wils @david Yes that was a mistake on my part. I quickly looked at what was being done and posted shirt. The Candiani herringbone is maybe my top 3 favorite fabrics. Its alot better than you can imagine. The Nihon Menpu 15.2 oz brown weft is also up there with my favorites and the Japan Dova as well.

Roman or DD (whoever is able to answer): I have an order (No 770) with a total of 4 items outstanding. The postage was counted 4x (totalling USD 100), which is fine, however does this mean each item is going to be shipped separately? I would definitely prefer one parcel, as otherwise I would have to pay the handling fee for customs & taxes (plus the so called minimal amount of customs) each and every time (the tax itself is a percentage, so remains the same) ...

Excited. I have a western shirt now named Montana on its way. I believe it is not the fabric listed below but a 12Oz Indigo/Indigo. Here is a picture Roman sent but is more of a tease as it didn't come through all the way. Oh well more of a surprise. 12.5 oz. Kaihara Indigo Selvedge Denim mens-size: Small, thread-color: White, button-snaps: Tiger Eye, pocket-lining: Black & White Strips

Man I can't wait for my order to come in.
The heavy chambray CPO with black snaps should be killer.
