I was able to snag a pair of these jeans as well. Two things I observed while taking these jeans on a business trip with me to Europe: 1) Everyone and their cousin liked these jeans - got comments in both Germany and the UK about them. 2) The copper rivets in these jeans lights up the TSA scanners like nobody's business. Led to a full pat down. Either that or the TSA agent really likes neppy jeans and wanted to feel the fabric. Not sure which option sounds better I've heard that TSA agents go crazy over Ciano jeans!

Try wearing Wesco engineers with all those nails in the footbed and a studded belt. Didn't get the pat down but they ran them thru the machine over and over and over.

Emailed Ciano last night (he replied back in about 15mins) about repairing my top button hole and a loose seam below the fly. Also I sent my Lot #2 Texas denim to have them taken in they are to big in the waist. I sent them today he should have them early next week hopefully it doesn't take to long for these repairs.

My fly has been a challenge too. Had the buttonholes fixed and now the fly is separating from the rest of the denim. I'm like 75% sure it's my fault though, and I know Ciano will fix em.

Also got the secrets back yesterday after having Ciano fix some stitching issues on the left inseam. Damn did these things shrink to a perfect fit after a soak. The only niggle is that the pockets also shrank in proportion and are just a tad smaller than the iPhone 6S.

I sent mine back for some repairs also it's been a week since he had them. How long did it take to get them back from him. I'm in no hurry just would like to wear them some more before it gets to warm out.

Jacket almost dry. Mobile pics and that wierd lowsun light, but here is pics. So this is a 20+ oz secret denim Type-II monster of a neppalony beast, its kinda badass. Fit is f!@king kick ass. Yeah..its selvadge The patch is like...insane..i mean omg at this tanklike patch ye-haa Somehow the nep is wierdly hard to catch on film but trust me...its like times 10 irl, beautiful. Also i dunno if it was intentional or not, but the arms are nep-crazy and the body is not, its very nice and looks carefully planned, but probably just happened. So also I told Ciano I didn't like his shiny buttons bc this one is neppy like an old rug and offwhite weft and I wanted it too look more....not so shiny. He was crazy nice and just acid-treated a set for me to bring out some blue and make them look like he found them in the cellar after 200 years or something. Can also bee seen on fitpic, and is also impossible to catch, but the buttons are alot orange/green irl, you can see both the copper and the very green but it comes out flat and not true to color on camera...

I hotsoaked it to get it slightly more snug. Not alot happened, it snugged up some and looks very good but didnt do anything crazy, so the coldsoak was the worst shrink-wise. I did pull on it some in the length while wet since it was already short enough, so a pair of pants might shrink up much more in length if hotsoaked so beware, but for me...with the pull - it did that last nice tuning and i can still squeeze a light sweater under it but also looks good with Just a tee so its my New favourite fall and spring-jacket.

Wish CF would/could hire a couple of skilled artisan helpers....id love to order some more stuff...but the 4-8 month wait times being posted here are uncomfortable, unless he would take a deposit instead of full payment...thats a lot of captial to hold over that period of time...

Not to mention when you get something and it immediately needs a repair and you don't really know how long it will be gone. Love the product, just not sold on the timetable when so many other choices are available.
