There's a ton of info to sort through here, can anyone post a link or otherwise give me refund/charge-back info? I actually received my order (sorta...Kahla sent me two pair they had on hand to make up for the 1 pair I'd ordered via KS) but a friend bought some on my recommendation and I feel bad for the guy. So any help you can offer would be great. Thank you.

Look up your statements from your bank/credit card, look up past transactions, find the Lawless purchases, call the bank/credit card company, say you never got your product and that you want a chargeback on those transactions. If they say they can't, ask for a supervisor or a manager, explain your situation and that there's many like you, and hope for the best.

I was succesful in getting a chargeback for my 24 oz order from barclaycard. I fax them a screen shot of Bryce spilling the beans on here and my order confirmation email. Got my chargeback within 14 days. maybe sooner.
I haven't tried Chase for my Nov order but that was only $40 and I already paid it. It's an amazon card so I kept my points lol

I called MasterCard and they were very helpful, made a chargeback for my missing order ... MC is not amused when it comes to undelivered items!
Let´s see how this works out.

this morning i was making address changes to various sites/services and figured i'd send an email over to LD just in case any of my outstanding items magically make it into a box. i didn't expect to actually get a response, but did notice that one of the bouncebacks came from a Reservoir1885.com account. i'm not sure if this is a new venture for Roman, or if he was buying mail services...but the 'prologue' on the landing page of their site sure does seem like our good buddy

interesting... there's a note on their tumblr from someone named jamison: reservoir1885.tumblr.com/all of the pictures are of dudes other than roman, i have a feeling he's too narcissistic to allow that to happen if he's involved. but judging it by its twitter and fb accounts, it is new so maybe he's laying low for a while and working behind the scenes.

So is this where some of the money we gave Roman possibly went to? Reservoir 1815 Made in the USA? take a good look at all the boxes on the floor in this photo of the denim looms. All have labels printed in Chinese or possibly Japanese? Maybe we can get a pair of these "American made" selvedge jeans quicker than the pair we all have been waiting for made in his Arizona shop. Just joking I never expect to receive anything from Mr Acevedo. I mark up the two pairs I have been waiting for as an $100 learning experience on how to not run a clothing company!

jeffr0 there's no definitive tie to Roman / Lawless / Reservoir 1815. It's possible that he's trying to start something else up with a different name/brand, but their instagram lists san diego...so who knows.

Yes, I understand. I was just trying to make a joke about this new thing. It most likely is a start up by some of his Motorcycle enthusiast buddies. And Roman is in the background giving them advise on how to do things?! there I go again, making a another joke. I can't help it.

Can't be anything related to Roman. The factory picture looks like work actually happens there and product may actual ship.

This whole reservoir 1885, just smells very Romanesque to me. I mean, the guy has to make a living doing something, whether it be on the up and up, or whatever. For me, I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole. Its hard to believe that he could be back at it again so soon.

I've been following the Lawless debacle since their big half off promotion Fall 2014, when I thought about buying something but figured I had enough raw denim crap and ended up avoiding this whole mess.
I am very intrigued by this "resevoir 1885" thing. This just screams Roman. If only for the sheer lunacy, I want to believe.
I would not be surprised that "Jamison" is actually JAMES Roman Acevedo, who cannot resist attaching his name to something, even as a pseudonym he clearly feels is necessary because people know what to expect from "ROMAN." The giant "R" ... remember this is a guy whose company's original URL had his initials in it instead of the actual name Lawless (ra-denim). The motorcycles, heavy-handed "made in America" statements, and what says "lawless" more than a self-proclaimed "home for the rulebreakers."
The picture of that mill looks like it came from some deep google image searching. He is bad business in every sense of the word. I hope those of you waiting for refunds or merchandise come out on top, somehow.

Well, let's not jump to any conclusions, but if we do find out that RA is involved I think we owe it to the world to spring into action.
Right?

Also Roman comes from San DIego. This is without a doubt him. Pay attention to how many followers Lawless had in all those months and then look at how recent this new thing came about. Look at all the followers and likes they got. I would think they payed for followers and likes to fudge perception a bit Def Roman in one way or another

I'm liking the product descriptions, they take me back to a time when my inbox was filled with poetic spambot ramblings. Maybe they outsourced their copy writing to foreign spam poets: Leggings kale chips tousled pork belly Echo Park McSweeney’s, Pinterest master cleanse biodiesel. Shabby chic raw denim narwhal High Life Echo Park, YOLO taxidermy. Photo booth 90’s tofu food truck chambray, readymade Austin semiotics four dollar toast art party bicycle rights brunch wayfarers dreamcatcher. Hey Guys,
I came to this forum due to a few comments on my instagram account. There seems to be a confusion between me and a brand that has had a bad name. And honestly guys, I just started this project and would have to start it off like this.
Anyways, I started Whiskey Grade a few years back. It went from an editorial website supporting American Made brands and American manufacturing and we built the brand to put out our own line and open a brick and mortar store in Cleveland, Ohio. (I'm hoping some of you got a chance to check it out)
As this is a selvedge denim, I'll talk for a second about the Whiskey Grade line. We partnered with L.C. King out of Tennessee to put out some of our pieces (Two style jeans and a denim jacket)
For Reservoir 1885, I wanted to create a more refined version of the brand (Think Belstaff) with Waxed Canvas pieces etc.
Also, I'm surprised someone found r1885.website hahahah because this is just a test domain I'm building off of, Thats why i filled the product description up with "Hipster Ipsum lorem" which is kind of funny.
I do however know the Roman you are talking about as I was going to do a feature on his brand a few years back and I believe I spoke to Sal Russo in the company to work with him. This never ended up happening anyways, as i was transitioning from an editorial site signed to Complex Media to an e-commerce site

I'm only about 45 min away from downtown and wouldn't mind checking out the store.

Thanks jvmison for clearing that up. You have some nice stuff. whiskeygrade.com/Check in once you have Reservoir1885 up and running. Could you tell us a bit about what/how Reservoir1885 will differ then WiskeyGrade? And we need to move you to your own Thread.
