Agreed that the brushed aspect kills a lot of the appeal.

Got it. FN is one of the few that actually fit me. Wide enough shoulders, long enough arms, wide enough chest, and no curtains for me. ANd FN are pricey enough. I can't get on board with the law of diminishing returns as applied to IH. i'm convinced that FN's shirts are made for tall, lanky fellas. At 5'11 their Lancaster shirt was definitely blousey and of the dick curtain variety. But mine didn't have gussets which might explain things. either way the cut/fit didn't work for me. If you were still able to get IH through Rakuten their prices are about what you would pay for FN, but now that Rakuten can no longer sell IH you'd have to pay $300+ for one of their flannels. I know that price is hard to swallow but i'm a firm believer now that IH has the best quality out there. I can't quite afford IH flannels at the moment but if and when I get some spare cash lying around i'm gonna spring for another flannel shirt. It's one of the few brands where I can safely look at their fit charts and know that i'm getting what I paid for. Your right, I could use a little more room in the gut. I'm 6'4" and not skinny. I did miss the boat on Rakuten, but do remain sorely tempted to buy that new Western IH put out.

FU Pineapples! I see you hiding in there.
Not sure why, but I hate fruit on clothing. Alll good with flowers, just no fruit.

haha. I don't mind the pineapple look, especially in this darker monochromatic fabric. I remember seeing a pic awhile back of Andrew Chen (from 3sixteen) wearing a pineapple print Anatomica shirt and it looked pretty cool. I think pineapple prints on Aloha shirts are in right now. I can give or take floral prints....really depends on how colorful it is. I don't know -- i'm not too big into aloha shirts but the black pineapple one caught my eye

I have jack squat for short sleeved shirts in my wardrobe. I think I would allow myself at least one, especially this one since the print isn't very loud. But then again, IH has a ton of stuff coming out that I want so I may have to sit this one out

Freenote has gone to the top of the list for my shirting needs.
I just got in 2 versions of the bodie, the navy oxford, which is a nice deep rich navy, and the rinsed denim bodie, which has an incredible hand and drape.
Not possible to photograph the rinsed denim but man, it shows up so subtly well IRL.

Sizing measurements pretty accurate? I have four of their shirts and they are all spot on. So in my experience, yes.

Meh. I know what I'd do instead. Cheaper, heavier after a soak, and hidden rivets.
