Ok my prefered size for thigh is 13" Once washed measurements from blue in green: 36: 12,5" 38: 13,25"
What to choose? 38 looks most right but sounds insane?

If 13" is your preference, you should get the 36. That 12.5" thigh will stretch very painlessly and quickly

36 was sold out yeah....now I remember. But I actually think the 38 might work.

I'm wearing my 22oz Oni today and would strongly recommend heeding Untucked's advice of going slimmer, as low tension denim is supremely easy to stretch out. I erred on the slightly loose size and could have easily gone down one size and still had a really good fit.

Problem is, they are sold out. So either pay $125 more from another store or try the 38. Gotta think this through and try out some other slim jeans I have in the closet.

Aha, fair point. I think I'd hold out, if it were me. The low tension stuff likes to stretch and while it shrinks in the wash, it seems to pop back much faster than normal denim.
It's a shame that PBJ is a little trickier to find on Rakuten. I know you've checked Denimio, no chance OkayamaDenim has your size is there?

Griffin - have you emailed the rakuten shop to ask when they're getting your size?

Shops besides Denimio is at least $125 more and that is not an option. I emailed PBJ directly and they just said sorry we dont have it. And gave me links to 2 very expensive shops. jray what rakuten shop do you mean? Why im even considering the bigger size is because I have some very slim jeans and the nuthuggering isnt something I like alot, however there is a very fine line from claus to being too big. And I also think I can hotsoak and tumble until almost dry and get more shrink then they have used on the charts wich is probably a normal warm soak and hang dry. Its a little risky tho.

I usually dont get alot of stretch in the thigh area, but yeah my loomstates are much easier to stretch then say the herringbones wich is like made of steel in comparison. There is also the uncertainty if the ones one get is spot on or big or small. This is a journey for sure.

Ok ill try emailing them.
Yeah ive been eyeballing the 007, there is one in my size there, but im not sure im liking the flareing from the knee down, makes me get deja-vu from the 80`s but havent completely ruled it out.
Im doin an experiment with my okayamas as we speak, they sewed up way to loose, looks really bad, im trying to shrink them without loosing indigo so well se in a coupple of hours if it worked.

How much stretch are we talking with these PBJs? I normally roll with a 35-36" waist in denim, but I've had other pants with a 34.5" waist that were awesome (Outlier dungarees).

When I first bought them, they were nice and snug and I wore them with a belt on the 3rd hole. After about 3days, I was already stretched enough to wear them comfortably down lower on my hips, with my belt on the first hole. Thighs went from snug to "comfortably able to do deep squats" in that same timeframe

So maybe half inch of stretch in thighs and one or two in the waist? Hmm. I'll have to consider it. Since the Fullcounts worked out well for me, I'm willing to do the import thing again.

Just an OT note my Okayamas got really small and went from comically big to very Nice. Something wierd happenes tho...The pocketsbags and gustin-tag became neon-green?? Looks like the deadstock hue was only coloring?

Looks like the deadstock hue was only coloring? Yeah, mine got a little of that too when I performed a similar shrink-ectomy. Wearing them now, much happier after pulling in the generous sizing and they've stayed pretty much the same size since the wash, with only a little give in the waistband, despite my best efforts to keep my weight expanding at an alarming rate.

Wierd. Yes I only tried mine on fast but they looked good....apart from the glow-in-the-dark pocketbags.
So I pulled the trigger on the 38 (what a chock) bc I have the money now. Im preparing for the worst, but if they look way too big at arrival Im guessing I could try and sell them here? Then I will atleast know for sure how the fit is, will it be exactly like the chart or small or big, and I get to cuddle the denim, check if the cut fits me and then decide if I want to pay double for the right size or wait for a restock.

So this is funny, when I have been wearing my "PBJ" shirt for a day and then strip and goes to take a shower, the tub gets blue from ME!

I received my XX-007s yesterday from Okayama. Incredibly fast shipping, awesome service and great communication. I placed my order last Thursday and in less than a week they were hemmed, shipped and delivered Wednesday. Beat an order I placed 12 days ago at Left Field, New York, that is yet pending to show up... Not much I can add that has not been said already about this denim, they feel heavier than 14oz and the fabric is rough as hell, feels like heavy yute! I hope it softens up a bit. The fabric is also very warm, does not breath much, temperatures are already in the mid 80s in Houston and I do not know for how long I will bear to wear them this season. About the cut, that is were I am not as happy, these things are pretty baggy. I do not understand how the Japanese think this is a slim fit, looks really like a full cut office chino to me. I am yet to soak them so I hope for some drastic shrinkage, but for reference, out of the bag, the leg opening measures 9" for a tag size 33, they feel like bell bottoms. I am going to break them in for a few days before soaking, will post pre- and post-soak measures when done.

I did a slight pin roll on mine for that same reason. I'm thinking my next pair will be the cigarette slim cut
